I am an intense person and to try to 'dummy up' that aspect or lessen it in me would be of no benefit to a Dom that i am serving. If this is what they need from me, then i would have to say i am not their cup of tea. Doesn't make either of us less, just not compatable.

Everything i do has intensity to it...mainly because i am in love with life. My work, my writings, my art, my dance, my creating are all the essence of my being, and is express through my intensity. Why wouldn't a Dom be happy to have these aspects of me? It means i would be intensely making their life happy. If it doesn't though, then they would not appreciate the essence of who i am, and i cant be anything but me.

The part I highlighted above was intereseting to me. First of all, admitting "an unlawful interest" is not a crime. I have an interest in doing alot of things that are "unlawful." It doesn't mean I'll ever actually DO them therefore there's no harm in talking about them. Secondly, as I already mentioned, in many places people could be charged with crimes for the activities many of us here do. We admit them and openly talk and debate them here. Is that "legal suicide" for everyone here? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Just my two cents................luci

Slaveluci, According to Adminstrative Announcements, beastility is against the sites regulations. It is one of those things that are unlawful as well as some of what we might do, but personally I am offended by this kink and am not ashamed to admit it. I do believe that what I do in spanking a man or having wild sex could be unlawful but would rather be arrested and such for that, than for using an unconsenting animal. The animal has no choice, has no way to defend itself and I don't think a hard on or an open hole is permission to use by one unable to make a wise choice.

In many places, with many officer's of the law, charges would be dependent upon what the officer or government representitive believed a real offense. Some would not be required to arrest all people involved in binding someone and spanking their ass and would see it maybe as deviant thing but not assualt. Like I said, I do believe it depends. I have lived in states that required any hitting or even ripping a phone from someone's hands when they tried to call for help, would get domestic or other charges against you. With a consenting adult, most of these cases would not be able to withstand litigation.

With a consenting adult, I would take my chances... but with a dog or animal, if I were so inclined... no friggin way! You won't see me admitting to a lot even here and I am very careful of who I might break a law with. To me it is just common sense even if it makes no sense to anyone else.

I find it offensive when anyone even talks of abusing an animal and sex with an animal is non consentual sex. Rape.

K-9 isn't something that can be mentioned on this site. I wouldn't *admit* to plenty of things on an open online forum....but even so......I don't find the mention of that interest either shocking or offensive.

Yeah- the CM Admins made their rules, and I abide by them; but having said that, there is a wide ocean of practices out there that shock and/or disgust me more than K9- I have seen videos of men getting their scrotum stapled to plywood, men getting their urethra dilated, balls kicked, penises pierced (anyone notice a pattern here?).

Not to mention the whole potty play stuff.

But as they say, I don't have to understand it for you to enjoy it.

But back to the thread- Kim is sharp as a razor, and doesn't suffer fools gladly. Its one of her more endearing traits. It would break my heart if she thought she should dummy up or down.

i agree with AnimusRex and agirl, there are a few kinks i find very offensive, but the mere mention of interest in K-9 it isn't one of them.

It'd be the biggest and most unforgiveable mess-up and INSULT to have pretended to be dumber than I actually am..not to mention the fact that there's no way he wouldn't notice the discrepancies and no way I could keep up some ridiculous *act. He got what he got and he knew what he got.....for good, bad or indifferent.

When it comes to people's *interests* .... I might find a fair few that cause me to cringe because it's not something that I can go *whoopee, that looks fun*about....but there's NO way, that I, with all the crazy, weird, perverted and twisted things that *I* do/or have done, would point my finger and go *Naughty!!!*. As i said ...... I'd only *admit* to acceptable things here because it'd bring more grief than it's worth , it's no-one's business and there are terms that I agreed with to enjoy the forums.

excuse me if this has already been said. but, and i recognise what you are saying i really do....,

switching off youre brain and NOT over analyzing how a D may or may not do something is all part of learning to submit. just handing it over to the approach, attitude, tastes, intellect, imagination, creativity of someone else is a big leap that takes time to get a handle on.

after all, remember, you have the advantage of having been inside youre own head/body, doing things the way you would like/prefer/choose to do them, they have not. but, they are inside their own heads/bodies and they are doing things the way they would like/prefer/choose to do them and since theyre the ones in charge and youve given them youre submission the onus is on you to learn to switch youre prefferances off. its all about letting it all go. it takes time.

Well, I don't this question is so simple as might first meet the eye.

I mean, do any of us know all the why's and wherefores behind why we want or like what we do?

I think part of what attracts me to D/s is because it is a journey of discovery. I think communicating where you're going with your partner and how you feel about it is important, but I think that people will be seriously masturbating themselves if they expect everyone to have a full comprehension of all the ins and outs of their own psyches before starting to play. That's to an extent what the play is for. Figuring that out.
