Thank You for the responses. I checked out that "taken in hand' website. Phew! You weren't kidding Caringandreal, some of that stuff is really hot. There was a little hostility directed at BDSM, but even so bookmarked!

I guess I kind of figured that most of the responses would be along the "if its what the Master wants" lines. I esp. liked your post Gypsy. It hadn't occurred to me that a man could be a wife, but why not! Double bonus points for him being a professional chef. Just don't tell the people over at takeninhand.com. They wouldn't stand for that! ;-)

IMO, a slave or a submissive is either way still human, and as such as a mind. Unless you want a totally mindless obedient slave (in which case, you are better off just getting a blow up doll) she (or he in the case of male slaves/subs) has the right to be treated as a person, regardless of their status of either Dominant or sub/slave.
