Don't cwy, Potty. I'll come & post here, just for you.

My little part-time job involves standing & sitting like 2,000 times a day. So my butt & quads are getting a great workout.

I bought myself some good cheese & artisan bread & veggies, baby bellas & some balsamic vinaigrette. Makes for a very delicious meal!! I don't seem to be losing any weight, but my clothes are getting looser.

Last night I did 3 classes--back to back.
3-2-1, step aerobics & core conditioning.
My favorite thing about these classes is the hot shower afterward!

3-2-1= Three minutes of cardio, two minutes of strength training and one minute of core. Doing short bursts of exercise helps kick up the intensity and burn more calories.

The 3-2-1 concept is kind of intriguing. I am unable to even walk for more than about 5-10 minutes now, due to the pain. And I know that the pain would go away if I exercised more. Sort of a Catch-22 thing. So I get up as often as I can & walk around the apartment in an attempt to get some exercise without suffering the excruciating pain.

I wished that one of the fitness centers have one.  I can stand water at least.

Things are happening for my bypass.  MHMR has faxed the letter of recommendation saying that yes, I am a patient and yes, the surgery will help with my depression about my self esteem.  I eat because I am fat kinda thing...

I don't know why I didn't think of that, Miss Potty. I did that back when I started rehabbing after the accident & it helped me so much. I will now look into somewhere here that I might be able to afford. Thank you for the reminder!! [8|]

I should have bumped this thread about three and a half weeks ago. I am doing so now, because it was in its time a good thread that wants only to help people find common ground and inspiration, and because while it was active, it was extremely enjoyable, with excellent vibrations and lots of sharing in it, because of its contributors.

If you are on any path whatsoever of better health and fitness, this thread is for YOU! Give us a high sign..
