Okay, it started snowing about an hour ago, maybe 90 minutes; it's not quite cold enough to stick yet, but it'll drop into the 20s tonight, so there should be some soon.

I hate snow with the white-hot passion of a thousand suns. Thing 1 was born during a blizzard. Thing 2 was born during an ice storm Christmas morning. They say we may get some here tomorrow. I say they can kiss my ass. I just freaking HATE snow. Most of the bastards don't know how to drive for shit in it, so it endangers everyone else. They don't plow properly where I live, so it's a beast. Ohhh... and it's cold!!! F*** snow... (wish I could be more direct, I know my feelings often get lost in the subtlety) [8\|]

FR, after amused read thru Level, here's the choice I would have put in the poll: * Snow, nice to visit, wouldn't wanna live there. That would be my top choice. I also like Merc's take on it, tho' I'd expand beth's idea out to most of Cali. Wide array of geologies, climes, & environmental types lie within a few hours drive of much of California, it's one of the reasons I love livin' in the golden state . . . . [:D] That, & that parts of me would freeze & snap off if I lived someplace really, truly cold . . . . .

This morning, I woke up to a frosty lawn that looks like an inch of snow. I have to take the dog out in this mess. P.S. Like hell I will! It is freaking 18 degrees outside! Where are my plushy socks and my hot cocolate!?!?!?!

Snow does not bother me. It is snowing, a light dusting, as I type this. I enjoy living where we have seasons that change throughout the year. Variety is nice.

And that is why I like to train a dog to have good off leash manners including staying in the yard unless I tell him otherwise. I opened the door and he went out by himself. I stayed in wearing my slippers.

Georgie is like that but since he is blind, we recently started leashing him so he would not go on the road and get hit by some local yahoo speeding by. With Little Bit (Austin TX dog) we can count on her going down the stairs and do her business or she would wait until Bo comes home.
