Thank you for your honesty. I agree that you are not a racist. Preferences do not necessarily equal racism.
i am obviously a black male. Yet i don't find your admission that you are not attracted to black men to be offensive.
Over the years, i have had plenty of white Dommes tell me that they didn't date or play with black men. Some did it in a way like you did, and i was cool with that. Others have done it in a way that i must admit DID offend me. For example, one particular Domme had a sentence at the end of her profile that simply read (in bold letters) - "NO black men!" That offended me. Yes, she was simply stating her preference, but all of her other preferences were things that she liked. There was only one exclusion in her whole profile, and i was it. She could have at least said, "No black men, or men with bad breath, or men with stinky feet". That would have made me feel better. [;)]
On the opposite end of the spectrum, i have gotten PLENTY of invitations from Dommes who are interested in me because i am black. Depending on how they phrase it, that can be equally offensive. For example, i had one Domme approach me by telling me that "She's always wanted to own a black stud with a big black cock". She went on to expound on Her "big black cock" fantasy. She never mentioned anything about my profile. i don't even think She read it. Moreover, Her point of emphasis was a clear stereotype. Heck, my cock is a measly 10 inches. [:D]
Finally, i've had a few black Women write to me to express their disappointment/disapproval because i am with a white Woman in my profile picture. Frankly, i didn't mean to imply that i only wanted white Women. i have no racial preference. But they interpreted my picture to mean that i DID have a racial preference, and they weren't happy about it.
The bottom line is that despite the facade of political correctness, race is still an important issue in our society. To deny this would be foolish. But there is nothing wrong with having a preference. After all, if we can't choose who we want to be with according to our own personal preferences, what do we have left?
