Another high point in Sarah Palin's budding political career. She has learned to be two faced with the best of them.

http://www.sphere.com/2009/12/04/the-point-sarah-palin-flirts-with-birthers/?icid=main|main|dl1|link5|http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sphere.com%2F2009%2F12%2F04%2Fthe-point-sarah-palin-flirts-with-birthers%2F

First she says that she feels that the question of Obama's birthplace is a valid one that she feels the American people (obviously defined as a group of woobling lunatics wearing tinfoil hats as they file their endless petitions in hope of proving Obama ineligible for the office to which we elected him) are "rightfully" bringing up the issue. Then in her facebook page, just hours later, she says she never suggested that Obama was not an American citizen.

At the same time, she managed to sink to the same level of whining, passive aggressive low roading evidenced by many posters on this board by bemoaning the smear tactic of trying to prove that Trig was not her child, while using this as a basis for the acceptability of making scurrilous charges against the president.

Yes, Ms. Palin is learning to play the political game and become a complete and utter hypocrite. Or maybe she isn't learning, and just being her.

All hail the conservative saviour of 2012.

This is it, Serv

Sort of a ridiculous thread title, too.  She went from the P.T.A. to the Goveror's office without knowing politics???

The thread title referred to this ridiculous idea that Ms. Palin is any different from the lying, hypocritical, self-serving scum that populate our government on both sides of the aisle. It is obvious she knows politics and has no compunction about getting as deep into the mud as will benefit her. Of course, that is her only qualification for political office, but it's nice to see she has one.

...it's an evil liberal/anarcho/communist/socialist/satanist plot to make those on the right wing of the aisle run Palin for president in 2012. Thus ensuring Obama's second term.

Because he could screw just about everything up and still not leave as many hostages to fortune as Palin does. The further right love her, but she has zero appeal to the centre.

But if we don't talk about Palin, Limbaugh and Beck, who's left in the conservative movement who's doing anything worth mentioning?

And Obama went from 18 months as a senator from Illinois to president. And he wasn't even there half of that time. He better get this unemployment thing straightened out or he's out in 3 short years..

Sad but true. The conservative movement is really bankrupt of anything to take seriously these days.

Just think how awful it would be if things started to get better. If the economy turned around, if the Iraq and Afghanistan wars were starting to wind down, if we got a somewhat workable healthcare bill in place. Then Obama might be in for 7 more years.

Fortunately, the republican party has devoted itself to making sure that nothing gets better so that in three years they can get Obama out of office. After all, we do have to keep our eyes on priorities, don't we?

If only there wasn't a term limit we could still be enjoying the brilliance of that intellectual giant George Bush.

I hate to tell you this, but you're starting to sound like Rush Limbaugh's evil twin.
