Status: offline 		i find it hard to believe that anyone could be so casual with their own safety, not to mention their self-respect...why would anyone go with a virtual stranger to a park and allow herself to be "inspected"? i have always felt that if you don't respect yourself, no one else is going to...unless all you are looking for is a play relationship, but it sounds like you want more...i would think that if a Dominant feels that you are an easy mark who will allow just about anyone to do whatever they want, He is highly unlikely to ever find you worthy of His collar...

Status: offline 		For the first time to meet with a Master you should be doing it in a safe and public place like a restaurant or at the maul. Some like to meet at the local munches so there would be allot of people around you incase of trouble. You set up a safe call with some who knows you are going to meet gentlemen if they do not know if you are in the lifestyle.  You schedule a time for them to call you or you to call them. Set up a code word if there is something wrong you can say and they can call you back in 20 minute so it will be an easy way out. Make sure they know every thing there is to know about the guy incase something happens to you. You should never play for the time meeting then always make the first time meeting a chance to judge the guy.  Take the time to get to know the guy so you can be sure he is right for you.  I wish you luck with always be respectful by address him as Sir.

Status: offline 		I agree with everyone here glorious, especially John Warren. There is no need for a toy bag at that first meeting. The only need is for the two of you to talk and get to know each other face to face. Just because you are submissive does not mean you do not deserve respect, and out of that respect he should leave the meeting vanilla. you need to keep your own safety in mind at this point. There have been many things posted all over the internet about bad first meetings where play was involved. I am not saying this will be the case for you, but safety should always be first in your mind. Since this is a first face to face meeting make sure you have a safe call for you to check in with at all times. Take care and good luck to you.

Status: offline 		Safety should always be first and foremost in the minds of prospects in the first meeting period..I spend a great deal of time online and try to get as much info as possible.I ask and ask again what questions they have of me.Sometimes its like pulling teeth to get them to ask questions.I also repeat in conversation that trust and honesty is the conerstone of this life and that she must believe that too.When we do set up a meeting we already a great deal about each other.
For me its always a coffee shop or resturant of her choosing.The only thing I ask is that it be somewhere where prying ears are not a concern.
I always tell them that she is not mine till she crosses my threshold,and that closing the door behind her is her showing me that she is commiting to me.I also say that at the first meeting.
For the first meeting I ask her to wear certain clothes.Something red so I can pick her out,a short skirt(I let her pick out what she considers short) and stockings not pantyhose, In my reality more than half make their decission at the first meeting as they see I don't have a hunch back or a tumor on my neck or one eye that always looks up.Toward the end of the meeting I will tell them how pleased I am with her,or if I think she has some  things she needs to think about or if I think that it won't work out.If I am pleased I tell her that we can meet again if she needs time or we can go to that threshold of commitment.It is completely her decission.Like I said more than half make their decission at the meeting as I like to think I have a certain amount of charm and a sense of humor dry though it be.
Now after the door closes I inform she belongs to me as a slave in training.I then ask her to assume the dress of a slave of mine,that being stockings and heels but tell her to leave the panties on for a bit.I will be seated in my chair by then and when she is dressed properly I tell her to approch me slowly with her hands holding each other behind her back.When she is 4-5 feet away I have her stop and slowly turn in a 360 * turn so I can see her from all directions.Then i have her come to me and stand between my legs.At this time I use a pair of sissors and cut her panties on both sides and remove them saying that this is a symbolic action meaning that I don't want her to ever hide anything from me ever.Then if she is shaved I tell her that keeping herself shaved is her symbolic way of saying she never will hide anything from me.If she is not shaved i tell her to go to the rest room and do that symbolic task.( I like symbolic actions so its easier to remember actions and promises made) I then have her stand at inspection and do a serious hands on inspection of her body.At the end of the inspection she will be bendt over my knee and I will give her a short spanking.After this I will have her sit on the floor and we will go over a short list of rules to begin with .It is important at least to me that while there is physical contact that no overt sexual acts are performed.
I have gone through this routine dozens of times with very few changes.I believe that this first time is filled with all kinds of important mental and emotional feelings for a slave in bringing her into her state as a slave.I am introdusing her to my world and also introdusing a level of trust and obedience.
This is my way,there are many other ways ,but I think that this is the kind of answer the PO was looking for.

My goal is to see if there is any chemistry and to decide when and where ( and if) we should meet for a second time.

girl always tells anyone meeting for the first time: safe calls, safe calls, safe calls......... that can never be stressed enough...

pick at least 2-3 people you know that know you are in the lifestyle, make arrangements to call them and if you fail to call them and they can't reach you then they can notify the authorities.

also get as much info on the person you are meeting, meet in a public place, never under any circumstance go with the person on the first or second meeting, get references as well as this will help you decide whether or not to meet the person.

girl knows a well known Dom from another major city in the same province she is in, and still got references before meeting Him and His girl.  she also made the meeting public not far from her home but not too close either, made her calls and when she got home she made her last safe call to let the person know she was home safe and sound.

there was a site not sure of what it is off hand, but there are sites out there such as wizdomme.com and castlerealm.com (girl thinks these are two of them) that give a check list of things to do when first  meeting and there are other sites that you can download safe sheets from and also report bad "Dates," if you will.
