Either you get South Park or you don't, and I'm well aware that many don't. And that's okay. If you DO watch the show regularly, you realize that what they mock is bigotry and intolerance themselves. And making a judgement against a show that you don't actually watch is actually being judgemental in itself. Yes, there was a time when I didn't allow the show to be watched in my home, either. But when my kids, who were in their last couple years of high school challenged me to watch it with them , I did. And when I read between the lines, as THEY advised me to do, I did find some good messages in the show. And, when something objectionable did come up, it was a great opportunity for a parent/kids discussion and I found that my kids actually had really great values instilled in them. Like, hey, maybe I did an okay job raising them after all. I know the show's not for everybody, but I like to be open-minded. It's one of my favorites. As is Family Guy.
