quote:
Not a single person gawked, ogled, whispered, pointed, stared... nothing. It was as if we were walking in the park, smiling and waving at people we knew. Hi Red, I had this same experience at the nude beach. I used to go every year with my very tiny gay boyfriend - he was a bear. And we had a great time! Everybody was ... well, different. In all those years only ONCE did we see "Model Gorgeous" people - a couple who spent the whole time preening and "looking good." Everybody else was busy laughing and having fun. Yeah, I am not what I want to be. I go through my fears and whatnot, but I do know this - I've never had a problem getting a lover if I wanted one. Nowadays, though, I'm concerned about health - the pain my knees feel from my weight, all the arthritis I have from old injuries, being able to sit in a plane seat (oh god, one trip, I ended up sitting on the floor for most of the trip - dang Asians and their skinnie minnie seats), and being happy. I've come to realize that I am really really happy when I work out in the morning - it just starts my day beautifully. Hugs and love to you all!
