Status: offline 		it could be said anything can be made in to a kink, that could mean that everything is, so why do's all every little odd and end kink need it own word/term? can't it just be a like a (for example) "blow job fetish" and that’s that?

Status: offline 		Well there is obviously a medical/scientific/knowledge based reason for accurately describing any phenomena, sexual or not. We could call everything "grunt" but then we'd still be living in caves. Communication and knowledge both demand accurate descriptions.
Also there is that little thing called ego. People like to belong to groups, but they like special attention paid to the tiny details of their existence even more.

Status: offline 		Specific terminology makes it easier to talk precisely about a topic on many levels. There is a reason poets struggle to select JUST the right word. Words contain nuance, and nuance enhances meaning.

"Blow job fetish" is okay, people understand what it is, but fellatio is a good word, so is head, so is... etc. And in fact, a person may enjoy giving or receiving a blow job without having fetishized it.

Is there some word people are using that confuses you?

I don't think so. I think "giving head" is when someone is having sex with your head instead of the other end.  It incorporates all the fun things you can do with a mouth and a cock.  I can't imagine that you could do a quality job just focusing on the head of the penis when there are nerve endings everywhere else... and a good sub wants to do high quality work!
