"Not Sure..." isn't that who we did elect? Certainly seems to be who we wound up with.

willbeurdaddy -> RE: Q5: If you had to choose ... (12/10/2009 11:59:13 AM)

Todays release on the 2012 elections has Obama leading Huckster by 1 point, Palin by 6 and Romney by 5.

Thats registered voters...make it likely voters and Obama is certainly behind Huckabee and neck and neck with the other 2.

mnottertail -> RE: Q5: If you had to choose ... (12/10/2009 12:00:59 PM)

and if the elections were held today......

Politesub53 -> RE: Q5: If you had to choose ... (12/10/2009 4:10:27 PM)

Firm, nice of you to point out Obama is still more popular than Bush. [8D]

slvemike4u -> RE: Q5: If you had to choose ... (12/10/2009 4:12:47 PM)

Actually I thought he was pointing out that Obama is only beating "the worst President ever" by 6 points after only 11 months of fucking things up.

So did I, hence my comment.

Let me fix that last post for you willbeur....President Obama is beating Bush by 6 points despite being saddled with all of Bush's fuck ups.
There you go willbeur....no thanks necessary.   :)

DrkJourney -> RE: Q5: If you had to choose ... (12/10/2009 4:25:40 PM)

What about none of the above?...lol

SL4V3M4YB3 -> RE: Q5: If you had to choose ... (12/10/2009 4:30:12 PM)

8% of people that answered this poll 'might not remember' who they voted for last year, whilst 20% support the impeachment of Obama after under a year in office.

Did the people conducting this survey do it on crazy street, perhaps they were inside a medical institution at the time?

I’m just saying that usually I avoid people holding clipboards in public so they couldn't have asked me.

SpinnerofTales -> RE: Q5: If you had to choose ... (12/10/2009 4:58:54 PM)

Of course, if we had a "true conservative" in office, the stock market would be at 18,000, unemployment would be .3%, tax rates would be 2% tops, we would not only be out of Iraq and Afghanistan but the Muslim terrorists would be paying us not to beat them up anymore, tort reform would have stopped the health care industry from driving our economy to a rapid breaking point and Tiger Woods would have been faithful to his wife.

We are in bad shape in this country, and there are no quick answers to be found. As a result, the people are pissed off at the government. This is a big surprise. It would also be worth it, almost, to see how well as party who thinks that taking away a woman's right to choice and stopping gay people from getting married would end up doing "better".

Believe it or not there are plenty of Dems against abortion and Prop 8 passed in one of the most liberal states in the country. The attempts to straightjacket people into positions based on labels is just a way of avoiding confronting those issues one by one.l

Don't worry about it, WD, if you're right, we'll have a conservative in the white house in '12 and in three days every problem we have will be solved and everybody will be happy again, right?
