I have a suggestion to CM, is there any way you can change the color of a screen name of pro dommes. I was thinking maybe a green color, its the color of $. It would make it so much easier to navigate on this site.

Actually... I think it would be cool if pro-dommes and other pros could make their profiles a different color. But I also don't think it's a big deal. Block and move on solves a lot of problems.

Why not take an extra few minutes to read through the entirety of a Domme's profile...or is that too much to ask?

I think its a good idea for pro what-evers to have different name colors , it would probably make things easier for everyone involved.

Block and move on? That works for a while, but you soon get tired of doing so almost constantly. I have been doing that for a while now and so just out of curiousity, I went and looked at how many pages I have of blocked 'pro' dommes; I have 13 pages. 12 pages which have a maximum listing of 14 names and the final page with a listing of 9. This makes a grand total of 177. That is 177 names blocked that consider themselves 'pro' and who I consider scammers and gold-diggers. Unfortunately that listing keeps growing though. Hence the reason why I no longer truly bother with trying to meet people on this site.

Honestly, the issue would be more pressing if we were paying for this site. As things stands, it's an amazing site that is completely free. So we have to endure some minor annoyences. Oh well.

i think your idea is brilliant.

But it has to be financed and worked, think about contributing to the site in some way and make it happen.

At

sklavenzentrale.com

they have over the years confronted with the same problem, developed a system that has the following categories.

Honest people decide with registration, that they want to have their profile registered as a PRO, the grey shadowed ones, wait till there money grabbing ways are reported to the moderators. After some reports and a to me unknown way of checking (mostly done by volunteers, who donate their time to the website) they get a red colored FI in bold letters to their profile name.

So people know, they were not honest from the start, but charge indeed in some way or the other.

The system has evolved over a period of 11 years and it is also a free site, who is called the german speaking S/M register of residents.
Non german speakers can register also.

The possibility to make it work is solely connected to the number of people who are able and willing to contribute. The diffrence is only the number of data not the system.

As it stands, i like both ways the "let me wade through data masses and find a diamond from time to time" and the very organised systems where i can search even for somebody living in the next street and having the matching hobbys and s/m interests.

Just because one may be a Pro does not mean he/she does not desire a non pro relationship. When you start paying CM then you can suggest that and other labor intensive activities to the owners

It wouldn't be a difficult thing to implement, depending on the list software. The problem is, of course, that it would completely voluntary for pros to select the "pro" setting that would turn on the coloration. If their business model depends on lots of traffic, and the color of their profile lowered traffic, then of course what you are doing is incentivizing them to not click the "pro" box and the whole color scheme goes down the crapper.

I always am a fan of control on the user end... and we have that control, with BLOCK and DELETE.

I agree with you that a pro may be entering this site for none financial reasons but I visit various other sites that do put pro Doms up in a different color or with a tick next to financial. When joining these sites it clearly states on your membership form that if you use the site to tout Mistress business then you must declare yourself as a pro. Of course if your not using the site for business then you don't tick your a pro but if you get caught trying to do business the penalty is torture by audience in front of the queen

What definitively is a "pro"? Sounds like a simple question, but it's not in many cases.

evilgagger ... a Male Dom by your profile. One wonders why you search among the list of dominant females that you are so encumbered by Prodommes. Also wonder why you do not use the convention of capitalizing your name if you are a Dom as your profile indicates?
