bibiswitch -> sub men penis question (12/13/2009 11:16:55 AM)

hello
why in many porn and amateur images (in networking websites) the dicks of the sub are flaccid? aren't they supposed to be excited?
well, I haven't seen dom's dicks since they are mostly dressed, but that about slaves is so common
so what is happening? do they enjoy the play mentally only and don't get sexually excited? or is it hard for them to get sexually excited? what's happening?

kanina -> RE: sub men penis question (12/13/2009 11:26:19 AM)

i think its like porn, all women have very large breast and man very large dicks...[8|]

WestBaySlave -> RE: sub men penis question (12/13/2009 1:15:59 PM)

I can't answer for slaves in general, or porn slaves ( I think I'm one of the few guys out there who doesn't like porn ), but speaking for myself, past a certain level of inflicted pain, I can't keep hard. There's something about the physical "shock" of really intense pain that just kills that in me, though it at times that can be erotic, and an erection can return shortly after.

petitbateau -> RE: sub men penis question (12/14/2009 2:36:45 PM)

Some degree of flaccidity is acceptable I guess. one can't be always hard for hours, although I would really like to.
I tend to be suddenly very excited and then somehow relaxed so after that I slowly build up my arousal again, hence I am soft (or semi-hard) for quite a lot of time during session, especially if involving bondage of any sort and consequential change of position which annoys me greatly and leave my mind wandering.
what should really matters is, to be honest, that our lovely Masters are having fun.
I saw with my eyes, I'm afraid, that this fun not always concerns with a slave's hard cock. although it might help, probably.

My first advice would be to NOT use porn as your source of knowledge.  Porn is fake.

Having said that, BDSM is not always about erections.  It just depends on what is going on.  I have done plenty of scenes and been flaccid throughout.  That doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it.  It's no different than being with your vanilla girlfriend.  Are you hard 100% of the time when you're with her?  Yet you still love her and enjoy her company, right?

True BDSM is not just about sex (IMO).  i do lots of household chores for my Domme, and i am seldom hard while doing them.  In fact, i am probably NEVER erect while cutting Her grass or shoveling Her snow.  Yet it is still very much a BDSM activity.

Sorry if this ruins your fantasy.

Wolf2Bear -> RE: sub men penis question (12/14/2009 8:28:48 PM)

Generally during the course of a long period of arousal, the penis will go flaccid and then get hard again...it's the mechanics of a penis.  Keep in mind when porn is filmed, hours of filming is done and then it is edited to the final product which we see and buy. Often just because a guy isn't hard, it don't mean he isn't feeling aroused, erections happen when it wants and not before.

CougarStud -> RE: sub men penis question (12/15/2009 8:14:22 AM)

Most of the guy's doing porn use viagra or cialis.

When I have played with CBT in the past, the most fun I could have was getting a sub to sustain an erection for an hour or more by varying the technique as soon as what I was doing was either too painful or was losing it's effectiveness.  With just enough teasing I could keep him hard before I caused him excruciating pain again!  Then tease it back to life if it withered and ran away.  Then as soon as it was in full bloom, beat it down again.  Then start to tease it back to life...............So FUN!!!

But they always wax and wane.

Underumam -> RE: sub men penis question (12/15/2009 8:39:06 AM)

For me, the anticipation and sensual play leads to an erection, and the pain can cause it to go away. The penis should react naturally to stimuli, and then respond accordingly. Maybe it's different for a true pain slut (which I am not), but pain evokes defense and "a man your battle stations type mentality." lol. Not conducive to a sexual response.......

LadyPact -> RE: sub men penis question (12/15/2009 9:13:46 AM)

Males do not have the same biology as females.  It is damn near impossible for a male to maintain an erection during the length of a two to three hour scene involving pain play.  In most cases, a female who is wet will remain wet.  There are different biological factors at play here.

TimrehIX -> RE: sub men penis question (12/15/2009 10:45:53 AM)

The male organ isn’t supposed to get hard and stay hard for long periods of time. It gets hard then soft then hard. There have been a few times I have been incredibly turned on and didn’t show it physically.

I will say that I have seen many porns where the sub never gets hard. I think the pornified reasoning is he isn’t enjoying it. It is just the overwhelming animal charisma of the Dom that is making him submit to it. Thus the Dom had power and the sub is less virile than the Dom , or the guy is just getting paid and isn’t really in to it, or after editing his erections are on the cutting room floor.

Fellow -> RE: sub men penis question (12/16/2009 7:16:17 PM)

I do not post penis pictures. The flaccid phenomenon can be an easy explanation; for example, it is hard to get very excited about the camera (no holes).

LPslittleclip -> RE: sub men penis question (12/17/2009 8:44:41 AM)

in the begining of play i can be hard but as the play progresses it goes flaccid but i do get to subspace and that is a very diffrent and intense thing as well. i do get hard again after play

tvsue -> RE: sub men penis question (12/17/2009 12:17:18 PM)

usefulidiot -> RE: sub men penis question (12/19/2009 9:06:11 AM)

Repeated experience: i am hard and dripping wet in anticipation and during the beginning of a session but the erection goes away as soon as i'm busy with taking pain or thinking of how to best follow the orders i'm given. That doesnt mean that i dont like whats happening, it doesnt even mean that its not sexy, the blood is just needed somewhere else :)

One factor in this maybe that the erect penis is often considered too pornographic and so porn sites tend not to show it.
Another factor may be that when modelling for porn it is hard (pun intended) to keep the erection from shot to shot.

From a personal perspective and perhaps more of a real answer to your question, my erection is not consistently affected by my activity. Some of the things i most enjoy do not actually produce an erection or much of one from me. This indicates that a lot of bdsm and fetish sex is about emotional states/states of mind rather than just arousal by a stimulus.
i have some times been surprised at getting an erection eg: recently i was talking to my Mistress and found i just had an erection because she was there, whereas, though i find it hard to take my eyes off her shoes, i find i do not get aroused by looking or adoring them.
One exquisite experience i had which any subs will identify with is when i spent some tie with a woman adoring her feet and shoes. i gained an almost trance like calm as i adored at her feet and all the rush and fuss of arousal left me. It was sexual experience but not an arousing one in itself.

atypicalsub -> RE: sub men penis question (12/23/2009 2:35:49 AM)

The idea that a man will always be erect when he is sexualy turned on is simply a myth.  It is also a very damaging one because many women jump to the conclusion that they are naked with a man and he isn't erect it means he does not find her appealing.  I am usualy flaccid when I am performing oral sex.  It certainly does not mean that I'm not sexualy excited.  For me it happens because I am consintrating on my partner.  I'm using my mouth, my hands, and my ears (auditory feedback is very important for me).  Since my penis is not related to what is going on it seems to just go to sleep until it is actualy needed.

Ladynslave -> RE: sub men penis question (12/23/2009 10:23:07 AM)

Well, I know now that I lived in Los Angeles too long because I actually know the answer to the porn portion of the question.  (Either that, or I should have kept different friends.  LOL!)  Porn stars are actors just like anyone else.  There are few male stars that can get it up and keep it up with 20 people watching and 4-5 cameras rolling thus the ones that can't are the ones willing to do BDSM films, not because they are into BDSM but because it's a paycheck made doing porn.  Most of the people making the films don't make them because they are into BDSM, they make them because there is a demand for them.  Most films are low budget, and thus don't employ fluffers to make sure everyone is "excited" during the filming.

I would not go by what you see in porn.  Sometime being flaccid has a good visual effect, sometimes they might not be into it.  Mine varies over the course of play

gauguin -> RE: sub men penis question (12/27/2009 1:39:18 PM)

As already mentioned, pain and other sensations can affect erection. As well I go flaccid when receiving anal and it is quite common reaction.

And in first place - who said sexual excitement = erection? ;-)

atypicalsub -> RE: sub men penis question (1/7/2010 4:59:34 PM)

Wait a minute!  They pay fluffers?  Talk about a dream job!  I'd love to spend all day sucking on porno-star sized cocks!  Hell, I'd be willing to pay them!
