DomImus -> An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 3:06:12 PM)

A journalist was trying to ask Gore about those leaked emails indicating fraud in global warming charges. Gore said that the newest email was two years old. The reporter asked Gore if he would like to change his answer considering the fact that the newest leaked email was actually two weeks, not years, old. Gore refused to answer and a UN security guard grabbed the reporters mic and yanked out the cord.

An Inconvenient Question For Algore

pahunkboy -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 3:09:21 PM)

I read the hacked emails.  They date from 2 months to 10 years.   I noted that right away.

SL4V3M4YB3 -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 3:28:54 PM)

If a person is moving from A-B and A or B happens to be a place where questions are permitted from all directions and news organisations why would anyone tolerate the person being held up along the way by one person??? (look three question marks)

People that keep going on about these emails that form a fraction of the total science into climate change are intentionally trying to limit the debate to one area. Who I ask is foolish enough that they can't see this obvious ploy? I thought I was this normal average person with average perceptions but it turns out instead I am this super genius, like rule, because I seem to see something as obvious and others around me don’t.

pahunkboy -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 3:35:43 PM)

East Anglia had the key funding contract.  A handful of scientists stated in the emails they did not want their name on the published paper.

Unless you read them- it is hard to speculate what was said.

SL4V3M4YB3 -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 3:44:04 PM)

It's irrelevant even if they did lie and it was proven. (which it wasn't)

If there was a one thousand page book on the subject of climate change the work of these people would account for about twenty pages of it, if that.

This idea you put about of some grand conspiracy is being hyped by the oil lobby amoungst others who want the status quo. Obvious.

Do you still believe smoking is good for you and doesn't cause cancer? This is that all over again, very similar in modus operandi.

What is really sad is that you highlight all these obscure grand conspiracies but you can’t see the obvious ones in front of you.

This is utter bullshit. Their findings and the secondary use of them are at the core of most of the global warming hysteria.

SL4V3M4YB3 -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 3:57:43 PM)

Yeah because to the ignorant the idea of global warming only came about yesterday didn't it?

Do some research before making such idiotic statements, East Anglia isn't even a redbrick university it only opened in the 1960's. This idea that it invented the concept of Climate Change which every other educational institution around the world follows is utter bollocks.

You are being disingenuous at best.

Here you go lil one a brief history of the field:

You might see the term 'Victorian' crop up a few times.

No one is stopping you from picking up litter on the highway.

Keep your hands off my wallet.

ROFL. How long do you think AGW theory has been around? You do know that in the 70s that the hype was fear of an ice age, right?

And who said they "invented" AGW? I said that there work and secondary use of it is a very large component of AGW theory. It is.

pahunkboy -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 4:46:15 PM)

then WHY was the raw data destroyed?

It was so important they did not even keep it.

I assume that was a FR to another post. The raw data was destroyed because it doesnt support AGW, obviously.

They want a 20% global carbon tax on everything we consume.  So - if this is so very important- that proof would be more available then news about Tiger Woods.

servantforuse -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 5:43:31 PM)

Al Gore has never had the balls to debate his position on global warming. Now he refuses to answer any questions. He is a phony..

Brain -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 5:51:55 PM)

When Al Gore is doing interviews I'm sure he'll answer all the questions; this is no big deal. Another thing George Bush answered all his questions? John McCain answered all his questions? Sarah Palin answered all her questions?

So when is Sarah going to debate Al Gore about climate change exactly?

servantforuse -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 5:58:44 PM)

Al Gore will only do interviews when those asking the questions agree with him. Let me know when he goes on FOX for his interview. He recently blew up when someone from (very liberal) Madison, Wi. asked him about the over population of polar bears.

servantforuse -> RE: An inconvenient question for Algore (12/16/2009 6:53:39 PM)

I don't know of to many whores that have made $ 100 million for their line of B S. Maybe I should be selling carbon credits. What a load of crappy crap crap....
