I once put a leather belt with a strong smell for about one month in a tub with lots of soap (toilet cleaner). It was effective.

I have to second the "Why?  In God's name why?"  I have leather air fresheners in my Jeep.  Leather is the best smelling stuff in the world.

scent

I do agree that the leather smells good, and I have a another whip and a mask both have quite a pleasant fragrance. But the new one which is also the most expensive one is just to strong. Specially having all these bondage gears in one place, then the scent starts to get very strong. It is just like using a perfume too much!
