Master of Disguise with Dana Carvey

Johnny Mnemonic  with the very yummy Keanu Reeves

I fell asleep during both movies despite having paid money to actually see them!

Fantasia

You are entitled to your opinion on this one, but Fantasia represented, at the time, the peek of animation, the interpretation of classical music into art and overall a great film. Sorry to disagree.

Let me take you back to the late 1970s.  I have two movies actually I nearly walked out ot.  Carbaret starring Liza Minelli and Xanadu starring Olivia Newton John and I think Gene Kelly.

I hated that movie with Will Farrell where he played the 70's talking head newsman.  The name.......?

Couldn't sit through it.

MrThorns -> RE: Worst Movie You Have Seen (3/21/2006 5:03:44 AM)

I've been looking through these responses and have seen some of my favorite movies being mentioned:

"Attack of the Killer Tomatoes"... who could possibly dislike this movie when it brought us the song, "Puberty Love?"

"Star Wars"  GAAH!  Heresy! Burn the infandel!

"Napoleon Dynamite" This movie depicted 1980's America brilliantly.

"Natural Born Killers" Ultra-voilent jab at mass media sensationalism.

But to stay on topic.... my worst movies are: (Not listed in any particular order)

Wood Chipper Massacre (Yes...it's really a movie)

Battlefield Earth (Loved the book... movie was crap)

Alexander (Collin Farrell keeps slipping into an Irish accent while trying to sound like Bradd Pitt in "Troy")

Great movie, but you have to be in the right mindset to enjoy it.
Otherwise you sit there going WTF?

My 12 year old nephew thinks it's a hoot.

Worst movie ever....Robo Jox...Came out around the time of Ghost...I still have no clue what the movie was about.   Alexander wasn't too pretty either for a 3 hour long gay fest as my best friend said.  Have nothing against Gays, just was not what I expected in the movie.

Sarah1987 -> RE: Worst Movie You Have Seen (3/21/2006 9:45:37 AM)

Worst movie I've ever seen...Clockwork Orange.

RosaB -> RE: Worst Movie You Have Seen (3/21/2006 11:05:01 AM)

"KONG" ? King Kong, the last 3/4 of the movie (the latest version) it was fairly left out of the Oscars.  What a load of dung.

All zombie/Blob/creepie crawler movies except the one zombie movie that I can't recall it's name with the two spazed out dudes.

Star Wars.............  Star Trek ........Starrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Whatever movies.  Though I do like watching Vadar and I was in awe of the effects when the first Star Wars came out.  But otherwise, Yawn.

Jackie Brown

Pulp Fiction

Titanic  ............... if only they, (the mentioned movies,) all had gone down with that ship.

*No disrespect meant to those that had family, themself survied, or perished on the real Titanic.

any movie set over 25 years ago...this includes westerns, religeous genres, "Ben Hurr" genres...

i prefer movies that focus on the future

KaitlanK -> RE: Worst Movie You Have Seen (3/31/2006 7:04:59 PM)

The Gor movies.. can I say someone didn't read the books.. The books are okay.. but the movies was beyond bad.  I laughed the whole way through.. Maybe I should have watched it while drinking.

Hollywood Homicide is the worst Harrison Ford film he was ever in. I got the DVD thinking (silly me) Hey... its Harrison Ford... Indiana Jones... Han Solo... The President of the Untited States... It's got to be good... right?

WRONG!

I watched the entire film hoping like hell it would get funny... or at least better. It did neither.

The book was no great prize, but it wasn't bad. The movie was abysmal.
