Michael... I like you and all, but that is just silly. Perhaps it is a personal preference of yours to watch recent films... but there are so many older classic films that to just whitewash them into the worst ever.... well, that is harsh. But, hey... it's your opinion.

i won't watch recent movies that go back in the past either...it's just dumb

The worst movie I've ever seen was "Punch Drunk Love".  A dismal attempt at serious acting from Adam Sandler.  I've tried desperately to erase the whole thing from my memory but to no avail.  It's the only movie I've ever wanted to walk out of.  Terrible.  Absolutely awful.

Agreed.  Even The Rocky Horror Picture Show is older than 25 fer cry eye!!!!

i thought that was a very stupid movie, i couldn't get past the first 15 minutes of the movie.

worst movie ??   [not sure if this has already been said, and i missed it]..

The Telephone   [Whoopi Goldberg]

It has a total of 4 people in it throughout  the film .. i am a whoopi goldberg fan, but sadly this one was really bad.

I have a pretty good idea of what movies I'll like, so I avoid ones that I'm pretty sure I'll dislike. That being said, I can't narrow it to a single worst so here goes, in no particular order:

Natural Born Killers
Gladiator
Star Wars
Starship Troopers
Matrix

'It conquered the World'...a Roger Corman film. Part of the review read ....'a fanged carrot from Venus crawls round the Los Angeles countryside.....'
Made in 1956 it starred Lee Van Cleef as an idealistic scientist making contact with the carrot shaped visitors...

I just watched the worst movie I've ever seen in my life the other night at about 3:00 in the morning - a 1930's science fiction film called "Just Imagine". It puts everything else listed above to shame and makes "Eraserhead" look like an academy award winning tour-de-force by comparison.

I know you're all not going to believe me, but it really was that terrible. It's sooooo bad, I'd be willing to bet a case of beer that 50% of the respondents in this poll will not be able to sit through the entire thing. 

Any takers ?

I just watched a stupid one the other day with my kid............it was on demand Open Water....swear if I paid money to have seen that I wouldv'e been mad!!! I was fast forwarding thru the movie just to see some action, I actually hoped a shark would attack, god it was awful lol

For me the worst movie i have ever seen has to be "Spice World" with the Spice Girls. The only movie i ever left early from. Simply the worst!!

Worse movie I have ever seen was The Day After Tomorrow. They managed to take a serious situation that is happening in our world today and turn it into something of inconsistancy, half-truths, and utter garbage.

Yes, I will agree with you there. Personally, there are very, very few remakes that can stand up to the originals.
