 Good morning ,
i love to read peoples profile , and very often Dominant men will ask for a sub or a slave .
My question is this ; is there so many women that would describe themselves as slaves in the first place and showing interested to enter a relation as a slave from the beginning ? if so what is Your opinion about it ?

I see the same in the gay male side of things...... BUT, since there's so many fewer gays here than straights, I can "see" all the gay males (in my state) all at once.  What I'm getting at is that a search on gay male slave versus a search for gay male subs, turns up some (not many) slaves.  Self-identified slaves....  So yes, I think there are slaves (of all genders) looking for their Doms.... so why shouldn't there be Masters looking for their slaves.

P.S.  As to the typo thing - simply read out-loud what you typed..... carefully check that you are reading it correctly - that is, read what is actually there, NOT what you think is there.  OUT-LOUD  ! ! !  I'll often go through three times..... two at a minimum!!!!

Well, this is from the point of view of a sub, not a dom, sorry.
But, I identify as a slave. I am not interested in anything but a longterm, live in, TPE, no limits M/s relationship. anything else does not really work for me.

that said, I am not a slave to anyone till a collar is exchanged, and, though I aim to be no limits when owned, i have HUGE limits until then, which should melt slowly as the relationship progreeses, not disappear all at once when the great big Dom says 'abracadabra'.

Considering how many different definations of slave and submissive are floating around out there, they are probably just widening their chances of getting someone to respond to their profile. Then they can figure out titles and how the relationship is actually going to work once the two are talking.

I wouldn't consider myself a slave until i was owned/mastered but at the same time, i knew that it was the only type of situation i was ultimately seeking.  To be honest, i never noticed a difference in the compatibility of queries i received whether i identified myself as "a submissive" or as "a slave" in a check-box. Master was/is very clear that he seeks a slave.

There are indeed many women (and men) who describe themselves as slaves and put themselves forward as seeking slavery.  Whether that is really what they want can be another story, but that goes for some self-identified "masters seeking slaves" as well.

i think most of us identify as submissives - some of us go on to have Master/slave relationships and then identify as slaves.

i identify as both because i am first and foremost of a submissive nature, but in a relationship i probably lean more toward the slave mentality.

i believe there are some that bandy the term around without really knowing for sure if its for them, but its a term that attracts some Dominants so they use it.

I would consider that being a personal assessment of how deep they want their authority transfer to go in an enjoyable relationship. I don't think it has to imply them being 'easy' any more than the ole misguided stereotype that bisexual people are automatically poly.

The slave (in all likelihood) has surrendered a greater percentage of the available facets of hir life that are available for surrender.

to me the two are so open to interpretation as to have no difference in actual meaning

to say blonds were slaves and brunettes were subbies would give the words criteria

as it is there is no measurable criteria to tell the difference


if she obeys and makes an effort to pleas me, thats all i ask

Even with all the differences of view on the words, there is still a substantial difference in the typical mentality between s-types who ID as subs and those who ID as slaves.

I knew before I found Master that I was submissive, so I sought someone Dominant. It was only through building our relationship and establishing the intimacy and the trust that I found myself wanting to submit more deeply to Him.  It is something we discussed together, and that we build and expand together, there is no "my way or the highway" on either of our parts, though ultimately I will defer to Him, He wants to know if I have the slightest discomfort or anxiety with any aspect of our relationship.  He wouldn't be my Master without that, He would simply be my Dom because it's only through that level of caring and concern I can truly surrender all of myself...

i am not a Master, but since other s types have spoken up i will answer from my place as well.  [:)]

i have always known i am slave, and have always advertised myself as such, even when i was very inexperienced.  And actually, many Doms i have met have not known what to do with me because i am "wired" differently as a result - i serve, i obey, i submit, i'm present for his use and ownership, etc. - in some ways i simply exist.  It is very easy for me to give everything to a Dominant man - one reason why i need a strict Owner to keep me in line. 

For me advertising myself in any other way wouldn't be honest.  And i have known other slaves, male and female, who are the same way.  i could not enter a relationship as a submissive and "grow" into a slave - i am (and have been) a slave from Day 1, when my Owner took control of me.

So to answer your question, yes, there are women who advertise themselves as slaves and are such from the beginning of the relationship.  Just remember that there are many, many different types of people in this world, and there is no "best" or "true" way, just the way that is best for you and your Dom/Master.

take one that identifies as slave, one day she may feel great and feel very slavish the next day she has the flue and doesnt feel at all submissive, does that mean one day she's a slave and the next not?

on the days she doesnt feel submissive is she excused from obedience?

i use the flue for illustrative purposes, lets say she's still able to perform
