ORIGINAL: Valyraen I'm also given to narrating the inner thoughts of our cats, which usually makes for a good time as they're far from well-behaved most of the time. We both dub the cat. She's the evil empress of some galactic empire, hiding from enemies in this form until her minions get here, and then we'll get payback for not letting her scratch the furniture, sit in front of the monitor, sleep on the keyboard, and so forth. At least, so she assures us in a grumbling tone of voice, or occasionally a cartoonish one. We didn't know it when we started out, but it's actually a good couples practice, as it serves as social grooming, expressing affection within the household. "Oh no, now he's polluting the air again." in response to my rendition of Javert's Suicide in the shower... never gets old. And, of course, nobody mocks my teddy bear. Had it since I was a kid. It goes in my backpack if I take a vacation. Cue "aww..." Crying... well... duh. Anyone that hasn't had a neighbour from three houses over come around to see what's going on, or had to vomit mucus to recover breathing function, hasn't experienced a particularly full range of human emotion yet. ('Course, that could also be seen as a warning to prospectives, I guess...) Health, al-Aswad.
