Status: offline 		It's hard to find well written, hot, stylish femdom novels that hold my interest with convincing characters and storyline. I just read Jane Snow's very imaginative, new, "Slave Lover: The Mah Chronicles I" (in digital at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0031ERBLI) and it delivers the goods. It follows the erotic BDSM adventures of Iris, a high-born, complex, woman on the mythic matriarchal planet Mah in search of her lost slave boy. Has anyone here read it yet? Can you recommend other good femdom titles? Good erotic literature seems to be on the rise, but it seems most are male and not so much femdom. Maybe it's just me. I'm an avid reader and open to suggestions.

Its great to see some hardcore BDSM fiction that explores both the femdom point of view and the malesub's... Its a love story that has plenty of yummy, hot, nasty D/s sex, and a compelling plot.

   I love it because you really get to see the young heroine, Iris, come into her own as she matures as a dom, and as a woman... Not just the corresponding changes that the slaveboy Zero goes through.
  Its nice to see the female lead represented as a whole, multi-faceted person, instead of the stereoptypical cardboard-domme representation that plagues so much of the femdom media we see today.
   And the slaveboy Zero is rendered as a whole person, as well- but the story doesn't get bogged down in details. If Zero didn't have plenty of humiliating, invasive use and objectification perpetrated on him, I'd have lost interest right away! My major D/s needs center on control, humiliation and objectification. Its great how this novel caters so shamelessly to my kinks, while still relying on an actual plot, to carry the story forward. Its a terribly romantic love story!

My thing is, I have a very short attention span. So its gotta have enough hot D/s sex to keep me interested... But I still need a plot to keep me turning the pages as well, and characters that I care about.

Status: offline 		Thank You, Lady Pact. That's a great list -- including a pick of the very best BDSM nonfiction guides in print. i've found such guides of great value. Usually, i prefer those more insightful nonfiction BDSM books to fiction. For me that's because i find so much of the fiction shallow. But when a kinky novel is as good as Jane Snow's "Slave Lover," it's bad, very very bad, and I love it. Thanks again.
