You want acceptance and to be obeyed? Perhaps you might want to think about stopping asking questions and then poo pooing the advice given. You have been given a miriad of suggestions to what subs seek as far as character, openness and respect. We generally want to obey someone who is worth obeying and shows strength of character.

If one cant change that which pushes people away, then no they will not be obeyed, or trusted or accepted.

Status: offline 		osf...When I first answered this post of yours, it could have been seen as a silly light-hearted response.  It really wasn't meant that way.  Why does approval matter so much to you?  Who are you trying to impress?  Be honest, if you weren't you wouldn't continue to post these kind of "questions'. By suggesting the magic 8 ball I was trying to show you just how silly this approach is.  If you want to seek approval in an online venue...asking an magic ball is just as valid as asking anyone/thing else.  In the end, actions speak louder than words.

BTW....now would be a good time to ask again.

approval from people i don't know and will probably never meet is way down on my list

and if you think i misunderstood you then tell me again and i'll accept it in the way you mean it
