When I think of a Dominant that I admire enough to submit to, I do not think of some screamer barking out orders to me in an out of control manner. Domineering and bullying is confused by newbies or fantasy online players as dominant.

I think of an in control person, who is thoughtful and balanced and thinks about acting before they do it. I think of them as motivators. I think of them as Great Leaders. This to me is what is the mark of a Dominant.

So i do get angry when someone contacts me with rudeness or tells me to address them as sir when I dont even know them. And geez the lot of them that write a 5 word sentence with their yahoo chat name when I dont know them from adam. Well,I make dang sure they never contact me again. I suppose there are some that go for that. But the ones that do beware. They may be trying to scam you.

If you're talking about the kinds of subs who whine about how they can't meet their "perfect Dom" on this site or others, you're right.  It is negative and somewhat tiresome.  A profile is for you to tell the world a little about yourself and what you are looking for, not about the negative experiences you've had on this site.

Having said that, your own profile contains something that I find negative by your mention of how you are puzzled by how often you are viewed by submissive women but hardly any contact you and then you go on to speculate that it must be because they must be pursuing the dream of a Dom, rather than actively seeking one in real life.  You should realize that many subs view that as whining and subtly insulting other people and will not want to contact a Dom for doing so.

I rather suspect that such speculation encourages those subs to shut down their computer and go out on the streets to actively seek a dom in real life.

Every female who's ever sent me mail on this site,--domme, sub, switch or gent who lives as a lady (tv) has been respectful, pleasant and some have been downright Wonderful! I have never received a single mail from a woman here that was less than excellent.

Can't say the same about males, dom or sub. Receive amazing icky mail from day one and it never ceases. Are there good ones, yes...
but no comparison to the perfect track record of the women.

Rule -> RE: Angry subs. (12/29/2009 12:45:05 AM)

I blocked at least two females on the other side for being obnoxious.

MistressTonya2u -> RE: Angry subs. (12/29/2009 4:21:18 AM)

There are some negative subs and there are also some negative Tops.

I don't answer mail from people I don't wish to speak with, nor do I send messages to people that I do not wish to speak with.

It really is not that hard to just move on if you don't like what someone has to say. If it is really bothering you, you can report or block someone, click off the site or turn off the pc for a little while.

Overall, I have had positive experiences.

Lots of people check out profiles of people who write things in the forums. It doesn't mean they think you are attractive, and frankly, since the OP doesn't seem to have any clue whatsoever about what BDSM or TPE are, I don't foresee submissives beating a path to his door any time soon.

That is possible, but for subs who are ALREADY seeking a dom in real life, statements like that in the context that it was written make a dom appear to be whining and I, and other subs will deliberately avoid messaging them because of it.  Why write something that could potentially alienate the very women that one claims to be seeking?

Exactly!  My profile has been viewed literally hundreds of times and I would say that maybe, 1 in 12 of the ones who view me, contact me.  It doesn't bother me in the least since a profile is intended for its owner to be as honest about themselves and what they are looking for in a relationship, which mine is.  Very few people on this site and others, if they are looking for anything other than friendship are going to meet the standards that I have for a real life encounter (age, the kind of relationship, distance, etc.) as well as be the type of dom interested in the kind of sub that I am and so they look at my profile, decide we aren't a match or they get a good look at my photo and decide they don't like what they see and move on.  I've never once felt offended or been angered because of that.

everyone has limits, and limits =/= total

i used to work in manufacturing to extremely close tolorences and learned early on nothing is exact there is always a deviation

i like the word deviation

Justme696 -> RE: Angry subs. (12/29/2009 8:14:53 AM)

What is your point.
You drink water also..not? Well...it is not just water/H20...but we accept the naming.
People who do TPE...see it is TPE...because it is accepted as that.
And in general..it is total to most of us. If you are one of the exceptions..so be it. We can't agree on all.

well aslong the deviations ( UCL and LCL) are between the tolerances ( USL/LSL) then we are happy.
