Getting head, calling her dirty names, and slapping her ass around. And she should be a good cook. How's about you?

Hmm...keeping in tune with the thread, I'll give it a try

D/s is giving head and throwing up.....and getting to stop to clean up.
M/s is giving head, throwing up, but having to continue to suck without losing a stroke....

well one of my thoughts is that it doesn't consist of a master and slave

but two people engaged in a relationship that is hierarchical in nature

they may bestow those titles on each or themselves other but they exist only within the relationship

i never thought of myself as a "master" even when i was being called one, but if it got me a bj.........

Simple...

He dominates....

I submit.

I mean honestly...that's all there really is to it.

He leads, I follow.

Not really. My experience is that most people have no desire for leading and following.

For me at least d/s IS that simple. He says jump, I jump.

You know...for some of us it really is that simple.
Not everyone overanalyzes their relationships or has to know the reasons why things are the way they are.

For me the concept of d/s and m/s is that I do what he says.
We have conversations, he knows my opinions on everything, but in the end it is his decision. And I accept it.

You do understand the basic premise of a d/s relationship, don't you?

Look, I am not going to detail this out, but chew on this if you really need some cud.

Men look at things and see the way they are and say why? I look at things the way they could be and say, why not?

Hey, I was gonna say that!

Seriously, my submissive love is a strong, independent woman outside our relationship. Inside our relationship, she relishes me taking the lead, whether in play or in our everyday activities. She's told me many times that she's tired of being responsible for everything.

As 'wonder said, it's very simple: I lead, she willingly follows.

Technically I consider D/s as strictly Domination/submission, with or without bdsm.  When I am in a D/s relationship I like bdsm/kink to be included.  D/s means He has the final word, and that's just the way it is.  If He tells me to do something, I do it, or I'd better have a damned good reason not to......like "Sir, I don't think I'm able to walk to the store, I'm in a cast up to my hip," or something like that.  He enjoys telling me what to do and expects me to follow His orders.  I enjoy being told what to do, and I love following His orders because it makes Him happy.....and therefore it makes me happy too..
