Since this IS the political and religion section I am going to put this thread HERE.

Why the HELL do certain people {usually the same people}, start threads in the Politics and Religion section like this:
Check this out, Go Here, Watch This, Read This, Look at This, with very little or no explanation given?

People that post like this are lazy posting forum fuckers.
If you are too damn busy or lazy to write a few sentences expressing whatever the hell you want us to look at or read, why the hell do you feel the need to just post links???
There I said it.

Who do you think you are, that you can just post links, videos, newspaper links, and whatever the hell else it is,
without discussing in detail what it is we should be looking at?

I realize that CollarMe is free, and you are free to do this.

I just wonder WHY people post in this manner and WHY people even look at things,
without being given any reason to.
Also, writing 1 or 2 sentences usually from the article before you post it, is also a bunch of crap.
Happy New Year

You don't really expect us to read all those paragraphs, do you? Don't you just have a link?

lol, lazy posting forum fuckers, I love that term.
We should start a forum for people that just want to post links.
Don't write a damn thing, just copy and paste the articles and post the links.

Wouldn't even bother me half so much if they didn't all link to some wack job Glenn Beck clone yammering on about the Bilderbergs and the crypto-Commie symbols on the dollar bill.

Animus I will buy you a beer!!!!!
What the hell are the Bilderbergs? Are they selling gold?
I will admit, I used to be a "link abuser" {Never like what we see around here though!}.

I went to a 12-step stop adding so many damn links program.
They have a 12-step program for those that are compelled to just start topics and copy from the link and then post the link.
They also have a 12-step program for people that start about 10 of these threads every day.

There are a few posters who,due to past experience's...i will just ignore their links.Nothing is ever gained by reading these things...they are either so partisan or just so far gone(the links, not necessarily the poster....although.....)

Sometimes whatever online thingy they are linking to speaks for itself, Mia.  It's often quite possible for the poster to get their comment and position across in a simple sentence, or even a thread title.  The question is, does the person posting have enough credibility, enough promise of interesting discussion, that I'm going to take the time to read/watch his link and engage on the thread, or is he just repeating whatever talking point comes along that resonates today, and maybe shouldn't have been taught to hold down the 'ctrl' key while striking 'v?'

But yes.  Say something, dammit!

Rich, I enjoy a good link!
I really do!

BUT, why don't people write at least a paragraph in their own words first?
Are they too busy to write anything on their own?
Just copy and paste from articles and post damn links???
Aren't we paragraph worthy?

{Thinking Elaine from Seinfield and sponge worthy}

I need to know exactly what you're talking about because I'd like to know if you're talking about me, so please provide some examples since you say there are so many offenses. A lot of times I don't like to say what I think because I want people to make up their own minds without any influence from me. I think I link to interesting articles and if you are talking about me and you don't like the link why don't you just ignore it and let it die?

Brain, you DO this sometimes, but so do many others.
I have noticed that sometimes you will at least write a few sentences, before
you post a link.

Many of us, enjoy hearing what your opinion is, and what you think about a topic
before just reading a link.

Believe me, I rarely read or post when it is only a copy and paste of an article.
I agree with you 100% that we are all free to post and read what we like, within the guidelines
of our owners/moderators/ and hosts here at CollarMe.

I really wanted to attempt to understand WHY people do this.
I have noticed A LOT of this going on LATELY, sometimes all I see are 1000 threads with no real imput from the poster, except a copy and paste from an article than a link.
Thank you for replying.

Really? Please provide an example since there are "so many" where I or other people did this. I have never started a thread without providing at least a couple of sentences but usually more.

Look Brain, you popped up and asked me a question, I gave you my opinion.
Look at half the 10  threads a day you start on here, and work it out yourself.
If YOU think you don't do it, whats da matta?

No, she doesn't, but her video was a faster load, and I try to practice a bit of courtesy with my links...  mostly
