ORIGINAL: MzMia Since this IS the political and religion section I am going to put this thread HERE. Why the HELL do certain people {usually the same people}, start threads in the Politics and Religion section like this: Check this out, Go Here, Watch This, Read This, Look at This, with very little or no explanation given? People that post like this are lazy posting forum fuckers. If you are too damn busy or lazy to write a few sentences expressing whatever the hell you want us to look at or read, why the hell do you feel the need to just post links??? There I said it. Who do you think you are, that you can just post links, videos, newspaper links, and whatever the hell else it is, without discussing in detail what it is we should be looking at? I realize that CollarMe is free, and you are free to do this. I just wonder WHY people post in this manner and WHY people even look at things, without being given any reason to. Also, writing 1 or 2 sentences usually from the article before you post it, is also a bunch of crap. Happy New Year In essence I think people just want others to agree with them, or I suspect, the audience, they may not come up with the same understanding which gives rise to a person dominating with they think their, superior knowledge. One just gets the mental image sometimes that here is like a dim lit reading room with a bunch of old crusties sitting in their high backed chairs reading the broadsheets, they see something that interests them, they point the article out to other readers and converse about the subject, just passing the time discussing something of little importance. But when the links start getting put out there, I lose interest, I rarely go click on the link, why, because I suppose, I am bored of them, I would rather hear what a person has to say from their mind, not others who have published work, as if the linked writer is the font of all wisdom. If I wanted to check a persons words, I would myself go in search of the relevant information, and it occurs that what I might find might be different from what the CM author had in mind, but as with everything, there is always another perspective, nothing is hard and fast, we are not that logical.
