Well i do remember one i did take out to a top restaurant and spend the whole meal whining over how bad women was treated and we needed womens lib. I think she think she got a bit cheesed of when the bill arived and i told her to pay half
Also the kind of women you take to the same kind of restaurant and she spends the whole meal talking about how many kalories there is in each piece of food. Ok those i let finish the meal and never phone again
My pet complaint. The women who thinks a rant, lasting the whole evening, about how lousy the ex was, is suitable subject for a first date. Well those at least the evening is short
Well the one who had given me a pic over the net which was 10 years younger and 50 lbs ligther, i just told that she not be the women i was waiting for. There after i just walked away.

I had a date where the guy showed up with his girlfriend, and drunk.

The coffee was fun. But it blew my mind they drove an hour for it./

I have many dating war stories.  Lets talk about the one that got away.   Oh man.  Lets not.   Nice guy- but I was too dumb to see that.  Anyhow he took me to 4 states on a date.  Then as it turns out I left my hat behind.  Not good- it looked like I purposefully left it behind so as to meet again.//

Someday I will tell you about the prison boy I dated.  I all but broke into the prison to get with him.  LOL.

Nut guys like me- tho- best to give it up on the dates tho.   Many don't get my personality and that is fine.  Just life.

Now, holly, I clearly said ," one of THOSE farm girls", meaning one of those with smelly cunts that waited all winter for the city boys to come back inna summer.

I certainly didn't mean to besmirch ALL farmgirls, dear. I lubs farm girls and farms n the whole Ole McDonald thang, holly...erm, holly ?

And yes, Lizzie, I have many fond memories of summers at Boner's lake. We drove the constable there quite mad. Remember the diner up on the highway that had great burgers that would come to at the counter on the lil choo-choo train ?

the worst thing you can do on a date is talk about an ex.

best to admit there is an ex- and leave it at that.  no big long story....

I don't think I've ever tried to get out of a date from hell and I cannot say anything as extreme as 'date from hell'.......moreso, 'I am going to get the fuck out of here and never have to see this person again'.

The second worst was the woman that was at least 15 years older and 80 pounds heavier than the photo she had sent me. She never mentioned a husband and 4 children, one that had recently been birthed and was still attached to the teat. I really wasn't expecting a date with the whole family but that is what I got.

The worst was a woman that was considerably older and more life worn than the photo. Not to mention having considerably less teeth.... If I am meeting someone from the net I almost always suggest coffee or lunch during the week. This woman was nervously looking out the window and I asked if she was okay. She proceeded to tell me that even though she didn't drive, she'd had a friend drive her in...........but she was still worried about her 'old man' following her and freaking out on me. I had been unaware there was an 'old man' and I certainly wasn't in the mood to be, freaked out on. It was a quick lunch.

There have been a few that were just boring, but definitely not even close to 'date from hell'.

There is a girl I met from the other side that I really love having lunch with every week or so. I really don't get the feeling that she is interested in anything other than friendship but that is totally cool as I really enjoy her company regardless. At this point, it is almost preferable. Good conversation, relaxing, no tension or expectations.

You would have to do something pretty disgusting or have lied in a huge way for me to think it was the date from hell.

I think we have all experienced less than stellar dates. I am of the belief that you should spend the time it takes to have a cup of coffee or a drink to be civil and then just say, it was nice meeting you, but I don't feel the requisite chemistry to continue, good luck.

Most of the time that works, and when it doesn't (when they get mad or start begging), then I just simply leave and drive away.

I don't think adults need to have a friend fake an emergency or go to the ladies room and never return. That is extremely hurtful when all someone did was not be your type.

I had a few dates with this guy down in York.  That is 90 minute drive- so I was down spending the night.

I was beat- and in his bed.

Bam BAM BAM!    He gets all panicky and said for me to stay put.

Meanwhile- I am in the 2nd floor with no glasses and no shoes.  Thinking how do I climb out the window.   He got all scared over this visitor- and I thought- Oh no.  Luckily it all passed.

But man- I was so comfy to not have my glasses and shoes close.

//

Then there was a fuck from the park I snuck in one summer.  Well it was 90 degrees.  My roommate- or whatever we were came home. I tossed the cover on the fuck and told him to hide.   close to an hour- 90 degrees,. NO AC.  I gets on the phone all casual to Jim=- acting like there is no trouble at all. Meanwhile the fuck is sweating up a storm - hiding for his life.
--FINALLY the coast was clear. I tossed him his pants and got him out of there.   You can imagine how a later conversation with this guy went. I felt guilty for a while- until the day I seen him and his very pretty slim sexy wife shopping in the store- My eyes bugged out.      You can bet-  we kept space between us from then on. lol.

I see the comments about teeth.  Do you realize what you are demanding?  An implant is like 2k, and some people just are not lucky to have movie star teeth.
Think what you want- but when you look in the mirror-  age happens to all of us.   Something to think about....

My great esacape was like Holly's. I DID make it thru a painstaking dinner, but when we got to the club, I phoned a friend to come get me at a bar down the road, excused myself to powder my nose, and split out the back door.
I was in my early 20's then, I think now I would just say something like.... I don't think this is working for me, and ask him to take me home. Back then I thought I would hurt his feelings and skipping out would be easier on his ego... lol. Makes sense, huh ?  Did back then.

I always have my own car on a first date or pick a place near my house if I am having drinks. A place I enjoy if they are a no show. Thats happened to me before. I also dont meet dates out of town. The last thing i want is for a date from hell to be an extended weekend with airfare and hotel and no way to get away from him.Nor do I meet men just passing through my town. Im just not looking to be someone's booty call hook up.

I never went to that diner I'd do it now when I go home for a visit but it's probably not there anymore.

Come on now, fess up! What lengths have you gone to? What clever ways do you have to get you free from a bad blind date?

After being spontaneously set up on a blind date by a bunch of so-called friends, then finding out who my date was upon arrival at the local pub (someone I really despised as a person), I told them all how I felt about the set up. Then I exited the place... alone.

That is the only blind date I have ever been on.

I met a "bodybuilder" who must have been one in a prior life
cause when I met him he was overweight & smelly
He tried to smooch right away but I held him off by telling him
that I have something special just for him that I had to get out of
my car. I'm sure he heard my tires sqealing as they left the parking lot!
Funny thing was he called the next day stating he couldn't wait to see
what I had for him
