I have one question...

I have recently contacted a few Dommes (with an attached face [normal] picture in the message) showing general interest in talking and seeing if things are favorable for us to take things further... many responses i got asked for one or two nude pics.
Now i'm not a prude, but sending naked pics of myself to a person i hardly know dosen't seen right to me.

The question;
Am i being reasonable in my doubts or I'm being "not submissive enough & want to control everything"? (actually said by one of those Dommes).

Everyone is different - I'm with you ... no nudes until there is a relationship of some sort established. Chances are, those who want pics are really men ... or scammers of some sort ... or both.

Go with your gut, and at the very least, you know you haven't wasted your time with someone who isn't compatable with you.

They could have been men for all you know. You don't want to send pictures, don't. It has nothing to do with being submissive... and a lot to do with being comfortable and smart.

Are you quite sure the Dommes are actually female Dominants? You'll find that some males will invent female profiles here from time to time.

As to your question, I personally wouldn't want nude pics from someone that I don't know. I tend to report those who send them to Me when they are unsolicited.

I'm not a Domme, obviously, but part of what may apply here is the ruthless economics of BDSM. You are part of the largest group in the scene, and you are looking for a member of the smallest group! That means a Domme can afford to be particular, frankly. I'm not telling you what to do, just letting you know some context.

It's a reasonable position to say "I don't want to put nude pictures out there until we've gotten to a certain point" and that might help you find a better relationship, or at least one that fits you better. But, you might also lose good possibilities too.

It's a tradeoff. I suggest you think more about how you feel on the subject and go from there.

Most of those out there who immediately want nudes are looking to get off or are going to base any potential relationship on outward appearances. Those types of relationships have there place, but generally that is not a healthy place.
I am not knocking anyones free choice. If quick and mostly shallow is your 'thing' ... run, run with open arms to that type of person and relationship. If, on the other hand, you are someone that is looking for a meaningful, healthy relationship that has a chance of lasting longer then the average expiration date on a package of yogurt, flee in the other direction at TOP speed.

What is it that you think you will get in return? You are a submissive (I am guessing), not a body without a brain (again guessing). Trust me, I am not aware of a single Domme who does not know what a naked man looks like, nor one who places that as the top priority to engage with someone they find interesting. Talk on the phone first at the very least.
The majority of responses so far say what most are thinking: man in Domme's profile...

Thanks a lot everyone, i do agree this has a lot to do with the economics of this game. But as ya'll have put it so eloquently, the people who would want nude pics are either
a). Fakes or
b). Not something i am looking for (seeing a reasonable relation).

But again the question remains, Just because i am in the minority here (male-sub) do i have to relax my standards. what does the other side think???
The self-doubting person in me asks, "Does it make me less submissive???"
Please add something i have not addressed.

If I were a man, and was being asked for nude pictures on initial contact, my first instinct would be to think said domina is a man behind a fem picture.
I realize there are exceptions, in that some women want to see the full monty, before attempting a connection.
Personally, I think a guy is either very socially awkward, or only looking for online play/reaction, when I get nude pictures from someone I've never met/slept with... But that is me, and I could be wrong, M

In my experience, the Dommes who are worth getting to know don't act like that. They don't demand naked photos before you and they have established some sort of rapport. What they do demand, straight away, is conversation. They will want to know what sort of person you are 'in the round' - that is, beyond and aside from your BDSM interests.

If you do not feel comfortable giving out a naked picture to someone you have just met over the Internet then do not do so. Many on this forum is only after jerk of material, that go for men and for women. It do not make you less submissive to not want to give every person you meet online who ask for it nude pictures. There are plenty of pepole who will be interested in you with your clothes on my dear. There is nothing wrong with saying no when someone ask something of you on the forum that you are not comfortable with.
