I did, and I still agree with Aileen. That you see submissives as nothing but doormats could have a lot to do with why you haven't found someone. Note the use of the word "could"

~FR I think that the whole "doormat" thing is just a ruse. Nobody (or at least nobody HEALTHY) would be into that for real. I mean as a fantasy, sure, but reality? No way.

Most people would define doormat as someone who allows themself to be walked over.

...seriously, I think people (male or female) do that to test the dominant...to create a little drama. I have no issue w/ alpha personalities, but I do take issue w/ those creating drama. I don't waste my time, b/c after all, the sub/slave has sought me out and I can in turn reject them for such behavior...and it has happened just like that, much to the sub's/slave's dismay.
