It's so run of the mill this shooting of people.

Terrorism is such a loose term it could apply to any instance where the main aim is to create fear and panic. I think the number one producer of terrorism is the government. The criminals supply the product and the government brands it according to political objective.

Yes, but that's what lampooning is. My point is, the government has whipped everyone up into a state of hysteria by labeling just about everything under the sun "terrorism." To the point where the word has so many meanings, it has no meaning. According to the definitions of the federal Joint Terrorism Task Force, committing a crime of violence against a US marshal at a federal facility is a terrorist act. The assailant falls into the category of "single issue terrorist," as defined by the DOJ.
