I love mine, I have a very large ornate dragon on my back in shades of green, very old school Chinese style, took about 5.5 hours and did it in one sitting, the pain was bearable for most part, and that was 8 years ago. Two years ago I got another Asian style dragon on my left shoulder, which was about 1.5 hours. My next one will be for symmetry, I can't stand not having one on my other shoulder . I am getting what is called a Kirin, or Qilin or Quirin, depending on the Japanese, Korean or Chinese wording. It is a fascinating creature and the story behind it is very meaningful to me. I am thinking the time is now because I keep looking at various images. "Although it looks fearsome, the Qilin only punishes the wicked. It can walk on grass yet not trample the blades and it can also walk on water. Being a peaceful creature, its diet does not include flesh. It takes great care when it walks never to tread on any living thing, and it is said to appear only in areas ruled by a wise and benevolent leader (some say even if this area is only a house). It is normally gentle but can become fierce if a pure person is threatened by a sinner, spouting flames from its mouth and exercising other fearsome powers that vary from story to story." I love that story. Of course I was married to a native Asian of Korean/Chinese descent for 22 years so I have an affinity for Asian culture, in most forms.
