I have one, "Bubba", I figured he needed a "Southern" name when we moved down here from N.H.
I got him at the pound in Stratham, N.H. two days before they were going to.....
He's a gray and black and white Tabby at 16 lbs. The ex couldn't have pets in her apt. so I took him.

I have one kitty we adopted from the shelter mid-October of 2009 when she was 5 1/2 months old...She is a Calico...Here name was Candy at the shelter but we changed it to Gnocchi but we still call her both! She was the last of a litter from a feral mother to be adopted and I can't understand why because she is so sweet and sooo cute too (but I didn't see the other ones). She really has two homes...with me during the week and at my special guys on the weekends when I have to get her in the pet carrier (which she thinks is torture she hates the drive there...Does anyone have any secrets to make this easier??? Thanks in advance!

attached is one of her newest photos I have taken: (I hope this works as I haven't attached a photo here before)

Holy cow!  You feed him.

Mine likes to climb on me and I want her to.  But if she gets to fat- that wont work.   The other night I woke up and there she was sleeping on the top of my body (the side).   I must of startled her tho.  lol

That is a big cat. One of the cats I had before Leo was 6 kilos. He was the most ugly cat I have ever seen. Vomit yellow fur, fat, fangs so long they always protruded from his lips. he looked like a mix between Jabba the Hut and Dracula. He was 6 kilos so he do not quite match Bubba. Unfortunately he ran away. :(

I wish you and Bubba well

Thanks for the nice compliment regarding my kitty. Her name is Gnocchi most of the time. The piece she is next two is one of a set of bookends!

I currently have only one feline here, in the past it was quite the menagerie. He is a domestic short hair, black fur, green eyes and about 2 years old now.  He was adopted from the local shelter and thinks he runs this place. Much of his mischief is from being curious about whatever the humans are doing; getting into closets, jumping on top of the refrigerator, playing in the tub with the remaining water and sloshing the water in his bowl.

Remember folks, dogs have owners, cats have staff.  *sniff

Sooooooooooo silly  . He is gorgeous, but don't get me started with him, because I am completely gaga over my cat and I could go on, and on, and on and on and on, about him. For hours. 24/7.

He's also double-clawed with a prehensible 'thumb' and has the loveliest disposition and friendliest personality in any cat I have ever known.

I am so grateful to the SPCA, I can't tell you :-) . LOVE my cat SO MUCH!!!

What a beautiful boy Kittin! I also have a polydactyl, her name is Porsche. She was abandoned by someone and we adopted her when we lived in Washington State. She's getting on now, she's the oldest of my kittehs at this time, the vet guesstimates she's about 13 or 14. Here's her pic...

Too true, too true, but still...  Thing is.. the vets can't get over it. They've even begged me to present him at a cat show. Only problem is, there aren't that many cat shows in New Hamsphire. Fuck... there's NOTHING going on in NH lol.

Awww! She's beautiful also... she's a mackerel tabby. I've been doing a lot of research because of Cyrus' markings, and it's quite interesting, really... domestic cats all descend from the little African wildcat.

The double-claw thing is fascinating too. I've been wondering about that trait, but even the vets are useless. Do you know anything about it?

I LOVE catssssss :-) .

Indeed! She has a huge sploch of orange on her stomach and one leg is black, white, and orange. It's hard to tell in the pic but she looks like someone took a paintbrush and painted orange "streaks" in her fur.

I also have two ginger kitties, Calvin and Hobbes. Calvin is a psycho nut job, he will beg you to love him, then he whacks you when you stop...and sometimes he whacks you in the middle of the love fest...you can't win with that cat!

My Hobbes is the sweetest, most good natured, loving kitty ever! That is, unless he gets jealous, and then Katy bar the door! He believes he is my boyfriend, and he would get in between my husband and I while we were sleeping...and push him away!

They used to love each other, and sleep together, and experiment sexually together...it was adorable! Then one day, Hobbes had an abscess, and right after I gave him the antibiotic, his smell must have changed, and Calvin wouldn't have anything to do with him! They've hated each other since.

Here's when they were kittens, and about 7 weeks old. Hobbes has the milk residue on his nose.
