While other's are saying what they feel their answer to the OP's question, it makes me wonder. Does it really make that much a difference as to HOW you do go, or what method of death you have put upon you? Think about the answer. While dying in itself would be bad enough, I fear not the method of which I do go, it is what it is or shall be. Rather the fear of dying alone when all we want all our lives is to be loved and be with those that we care about. Does not matter if a slow death or speedy one, painless or painful I think. Rather the being alone, knowing that you have lived such a life that no one cares or no one is with you. Knowing that there will not be any remembrance of you after you go. No legacy, no one to grieve, no one to be thankful for the time that which you did have. No one to carry on even the smallest of tasks for you that you loved dearly. To go away un-noticed, un-loved, feeling un-wanted, to go with such a feeling of non-existance.....knowing you have left no one nor nothing behind. To die such a death to me would scare me more than any method of which I may go.
