On a more positive note, that's the first time I've clicked on a profile to get a better look at the background decor. Really like that yellow!

Can aftercare involve ice cream and chick flicks?

Talk about High maintenance, now we have to cry at the end of Steel Magnolia's with you?

Olyimpia Dukakis

You already done wailed at the end of that movie, all alone. You'd be happy for the company and the ice cream.

Nah... I was always more thinking about being the one getting spanked. And winning a black eye from GW.

Obtain address.

Find address on map or print map with directions to said address.

Car.

Get in car.

Drive to said address.

Investigate.

If anybody is too lazy to do that, I can absolutely see why you are a perfect target for such scams.  After all, if you were willing or interested in investing any part of yourself to go out and meet people in your local community, YOU WOULDN'T BE SUCH A GOOD TARGET FOR SCAMMERS TO BEGIN WITH!

In other words, dear, the problem is you.

Nah, I hate that movie. I'm more... "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", "Romancing the Stone", "McClintock", Angel and the Badman", or "Stagecoach" - Yes G-d damn it, John Wayne movies can count as chick flicks!!!

Wait, wait, wait...

Since when is Romancing the Stone a chick-flick??

It's about a woman who wears Italian heels, writes romance novels, trying to save her sister by finding a rare gem and falls for a gruff, handsome guy who saves her butt and then wrestles crocs to get the priceless gem, which he uses to buy a boat that he names after one of her romance novel characters and tracks her down in another country...

How is this not a chick flick?

How is this not a chick flick?

An opening scene where the movie's novelist is narrating about scantilly clad girl using a striptease to distract her attacker so she can throw a knife into his chest. Continuous camera cues that focus on Jack Colton's visual undressing of Joan Wilder in a decidedly testosterone-angled way. Danny DeVito. A car chase involving gunfire, a big wheeled jeep and a Colombian druglord. An archvillain who has his hand bitten off by a crocodile...

Exactly. It's a romance novel on the screen. It's a chick flick.

Edited to add: Do guys really think there are no action, gunfights and swordfights in romance novels?

I know. Oooo and in the Western ones there are always several great gunfight scenes. It's always fun when the hero hacks and slashes and shoots his way to his lady, who he is going to throw over his shoulder. And even better when she is fighting too. Actually one of my favorite parts was when the heroine dived under the swords of her lover and her cousin to keep them from killing each other.

Ahh, seiges, imprisonments, torture and death... always part of a good romance novel.
