Thanks but no, as it is I have a stack of books to be read which is tall enough to bury me.

I do agree though that Romancing the Stone is a chickflick. Guys just don't want to admit it because then they would have to admit they liked a chickflick.

James Heller's last book, Portrait of an Artist as an Old Man, is a pretty cool book. In it he says there is no more reason for men to write because women are so much better at it.

Chick lit is fantastic, not necessarily all that flowery shite that is connected to your basic formula romance novel. I have heard it said women are stronger than men because they face stuff, like fear and things not so easily faced.

Chick lit makes great chick flicks; can do.
