I had a Dom dump me through e-mail once.  I cried at first.  Then I started thinking, what the hell.....if He has no more nuts than to dump me via e-mail, I'm better off w/o Him.  I got my crying out, then I got my shit back together & got back out there again.  There seems there's no shortage of Men, you just have to find the right One.....  If He was so cowardly and nutless as to dump you via e-mail, He wasn't worth it anyway.  Take care of you, the way you would your own best friend.

And here I said I wasn't going to cry. I gave him everything! I opened myself up to him in ways I've never done before. I told him all my secrets, fantasies, everything.

“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.”

Soooo sorry to hear this has happened to you. At least you know where you stand. I had one walk away without a word.

This is what I do, I cry, I have some comfort food, I cry some more, take a nice hot bubble bath, and cry some more, then I get angry and look at what I did before he came along... I got along just FINE before he came along and I can do it now.

Hugs to you I hope you feel better soon

I am so sorry to hear that. I to just went thru this same thing a few weeks before christmas and he to didnt have the Balls to face me he ended up doing it via. instant messanger his stupid excuse was after several months of being together was that we have a mental connection but he doesnt have a physical one well hell he had a physical connection everytime he was binding and spankin my ass lol. I was annoyed of how he did this cowardly thing but it quickly passed and I am actually thankful see I over looked a few deceptive things about him like his age on his profile and his pic. neither match he is 7 yrs. older and his pic doesnt resemble him at all. grab your bestie and a half gal. of your fav. icecream, 2 spoons, some vids. and soon it wont hurt as much. You deserve better then that.

I am so sorry that you are going through this...but here is what I usually do in this sort of circumstance.

A. If I really had feelings for the douchbag, then I cry...I really, really wallow in it. I put on every break-your-heart rip your soul apart love song that I can find, and I enjoy the sorrow for what it is. I revel in it...and then, like anything that you've had too much of, pretty soon I dry my tears and I get tired of wallowing (and eating ice cream and chocolate) and I place it firmly behind me and I get prettied up and I go on the prowl!

B. If it was someone like my douchbag ex-husband, I find my daughters, and I dance in the street and laugh and be happy that I'm finally free of someone who wasn't worthy of me!

Call a friend and watch a movie? Pick yourself up and move on? Put on your sexiest dress and go dancing?

Basically - you do whatever you happy. I'd skip the tubs of ice cream cause the calories stay after the heartbreak fades but that's me.

Sorry that happened to you.

Mine decided to no show and leave me assuming he was dead. He'd done it the week before so i was prepared. Gave it a few days and phoned off a number he wouldnt recognise, surprise, he was alive.

Still no reason, not man enough to fess up he'd met someone else, and i was a passing fling (6 months)

So sorry this happened. What a way to start the new year. At least you know things have to get better, right? As others have said, you deserve better than a lame ass who would dump you by email. How pathetic.

Here's my recipe for dealing with a dumping:

You give yourself a day or two to wallow in self-pity. Arrange ahead of time some activity on day 3 that will force you out of your wallowing--maybe a date to do something with a friend. It should be something where if you don't follow through, someone will come knocking on your door and get your ass out of wallow-mode.

On the wallow days, eat as much ice cream as you can, cry as much as you can--basically, do whatever you feel like. Take a bath if you want or don't bother bathing at all--whatever you feel like.

Once the wallow days are over, the self-pity has to stop. At that point, you need to get on with being your fabulous self.

Good luck.

Elizabeth, I've liked your intelligence and attitude ever since you started posting here, and I have a hunch that you're damn attractive...

Take your time to heal and eat plenty of chocolate.  And when you're ready to come back, we male Doms will still be here, panting for you.

I was in a long distance relationship with my dom and he released me via email.  I can honestly say that it colors the way I look at him and probably always will.  The best thing you can do is go on with your life, work on making it fun and interesting and you will draw others to you.  You may also end up being pleasantly surprised (that is what happened to me).

Well, this is what I have done.

Deleted him from:
Facebook
Messenger
Phone
And any and all other sites we were on. Any sites where he had posted pictures of me in bondage on his profile, I asked him to remove, which he did.

He was texting me, telling me all these things and I kept repeating "If you had talked to me, this could have been avoided" then I told him all his excuses held no water, I was able to shoot down every single one. I tried to end the conversation at one point saying have a good night, week, month year. He responded with Good night, try to get some rest. I told him No, that wasn't a goodnight Tim, that was Goodbye.

And that's it.
