Status: offline 		When people say they gave more than 100% it implies they have exceeded expectations. The people who have told me it's clear that I have shown a *110%* effort just have lower expectations IMO. I always try my best to give my all, but 100% is total.

Just over estimate the time it takes for everything and you can perform miracles. (You are not lying, you are "exaggerating".)

Status: offline 		I guess that is why I prefered Next Generation. When Jordi said it would take 2 hours, he meant it would take two hours. I have to admit that never works well with me. I am one that tries to ALWAY push myself, and if someone tells me it's going to take them 1n hour and they get it done in 40 minutes, I often thing, *not bad, but it would only have taken me 30*. But as was mentioned the other place this thread is, my *100%*is not someone elses. And I don't expect other's to live up to my expectations for myself.

Let's see, at 0-100% you don't feel it, and it is hard enough to give 101% (go figure), and finally that when you give 105% you feel it, but the reward is worth it (feeling it?)... that about right?

It takes NO LESS, NO MORE than 100... ie. 100% (100¢ = $1.00)

101¢ = $1.01, 105¢ = $1.05, and for the really good magicians (drumroll) 110¢ = $1.10

If you know people who will give me $1.10, $1.05, or even $1.01 for every $1.00 I give them, please have them contact me ASAP (URGENT!!!).

Sounds like the 'literal' vs. 'virtual' debate. A boy asked his Father to explain it for him as the school teacher was confusing him. The Father asked the son to go in the kitchen and ask the Mother if she would have sex with a filthy beggar for 1 million dollars, and upon his return the boy replied yes Mom would. The Father asked the son to go upstairs and ask the sister the same question, and upon his return the boy replied yes, sis would too Dad, but what does all this mean??? The Father explained, son... literally we're living here with two millionaires, but virtually we're living here with two whores.

Literally one can promise 105% (anything above 100%), and virtually one may provide any literally promised percentage above 100%, but figuratively one can only deliver 100% by giving their all... anything less, well, do the math.

I puzzled on this question and it makes sense to me to give more than 100%. If you're already giving 100% and then someone comes along who inspires you so much that it boosts you in ways you've never felt before, you can find yourself giving more than anything you previously were able to give. That is what happened to me, I'm giving 105% and still in a daze about it.

Status: offline 		If someone feels they give more than 100%, then they weren't giving their all to begin with.

Humans being human, are bound to screw up now and again, which puts the mark below 100%.  It's a nice goal to strive for; but I'm sure I would find perfection to be 100% boring after a while.  Not to mention that giving 100%, 100% of the time, would make the odds of an early burnout, about 100%.
