Dear Linda,

I am sorry to hear that Jeff, passed away.
I enjoyed reading about his point of view on things, and he had
such a wonderful way with words.
Jeff will be remembered and missed around here as a kind
and thoughtful person.
My condolences to you and your family.

Mia

Spinner was an honorable man. I enjoyed our chats both in the threads and outside the public eye. We regret we never had the opportunity to meet him in person. He will be missed.

Our best thoughts and our condolences to his family.

Linda,

From his posts Jeff was clearly an intelligent, erudite and gifted thinker.

To you, I'm sure he was so much more, and I'm immensely sad for your loss.

No doubt he will be somewhere, giving his opinion, in a provocative yet humorous way.

Our thoughts are with you.

Linda I am so truly sorry. Jeff was wonderful to interact with, I will miss his intellect and his humor. I hope you find some peace knowing how much he will be missed. Take Care of yourself.

Warmly,

Linda,
Three times now i have written and then erased my thoughts of Jeff...the words just seem so inadequate. We never communicated privately but his intelligence, his wit, and his passionate, yet always controlled, defense of his beliefs generated the very highest respect in me. "Spinner" was someone that i would have been proud to call my friend.

Thank you so very much for taking the time,at such an awful time, to let us know.

my very deepest condolences,
riki

Please accept my condolences. I always enjoyed reading Spinner's posts. His presence here will be missed.

If you don't know much about his banter here, I suggest you do a search for his posts and read thru some of them as it may help ease the loss you face.

My condolences on the passing of your husband. May your happy memories of him be long, and your grief be short.

My condolences to you Linda.

On Dec 6 of 2009 I had some correspondence with Jeff, and I will say that it was touching, and needed at a certain time in my life. I can only imagine the contributions he made offline, as he made a great many positive ones online. He will be missed, but I will always remember him.

with deepest respect,
Orion

A heart attack at 47?  That's way too young.

My sympathies to you and your family, Linda.

Jeff was such a cool, calm and thoughtful person.
Tragic, so young.
Condolences to you, Linda.

Wow. That sucks. He was definitely one of the 'good ones' here. Sorry to hear that he's gone.

Wow, I am sorry to hear that.  In the past few months, Jeff had written to me and I spoke to him on the phone one or two times. Sounded like a nice man.

My condolences to his family.
