NOTE- that it is nearly impossible to spread flu germs via crop duster airplanes.

I thought flu viruses could live on surfaces for up to 48 hours?

Indeed they can. I recall reading they seem to survive longer on worktops and stainless steel, than on soft surfaces. I haven`t read that they can be turned into a spray, although I am not saying they can`t.

There were blunders- of shipping tainted vax.
This had even reached the media- main media.
It is pretty hard to spread the germ via airplane. That is how I understand it. Tainted vax tho was shipped and discovered to be bad.
Maybe a crop duster could spread something else which might speed up a germ... but unlikely the germ itself.

Would have thought that since flu virus can survive on surfaces it could survive if delivered in gel form via plane, especially if warmed to a temperature to counter the effects of the atmospheric cold effects.

It seems tho that it would incur a large cost to put it in airplanes and spray so much of it that a million people get sick.

When all they might do- is let a few tainted batches of vaccine get out- and sit back and wait....

Planners were told to get morgues ready for the sheer scale of deaths and there were warnings that the Army could be called in to prevent riots as people fought to obtain drugs./snip

Have you never watched James Bond?

They always use crop spraying planes, to disable people.

There are probably easier ways, I'll confess to accepting this possibility.

No black death, no flu spraying airplanes, no conspiracy to kill ukranians with flu or black death, flu mutates all the time, man had nervous breakdown and threatened to bomb &/or shoot a few people, including the whitehouse.....is now in a loony bin in israel. Gah!

I agree with " ‘We have had a mild flu – and a false pandemic.’
He added the seeds of the scare were sown five years ago, when it was feared the much more lethal bird flu virus would mutate into a human form.
The ‘atmosphere of panic’ led to governments stockpiling the anti-flu drug Tamiflu and putting in place ’sleeping contracts’ for millions of doses of vaccine", I just don't think it's any kind of drug company conspiracy.....just the media going nuts about something in the way it does.....just like bird flu, just like sars.

Baxter Sent Bird Flu Virus to European Labs by Error (Update2)
[/link][link=http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aTo3LbhcA75I#][/link] By Michelle Fay Cortez and Jason Gale Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- [link=http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/quote?ticker=BAX%3AUS]Baxter International Inc. in Austria unintentionally contaminated samples with the bird flu virus that were used in laboratories in three neighboring countries, raising concern about the potential spread of the deadly disease. The contamination was discovered when ferrets at a laboratory in the Czech Republic died after being inoculated with vaccine made from the samples early this month. The material came from Deerfield, Illinois-based Baxter, which reported the incident to the Austrian Ministry of Health, Sigrid Rosenberger, a ministry spokeswoman, said today in a telephone interview./snip

I could be wrong but I'm sure a number of those people appeared on Star Trek as aliens.

Against my better judgment, I followed that link. It's a list of 93 scientists and college students who have died throughout the world over the last 16 years, of everything from car accidents and pancreatic cancer to plane crashes and being murdered by their husbands to being gunned down in Iraq. 93 people in 16 years.

So, out of the approximately .95 billion  people who've died over the last 16 years, 93 of them were scientists or college students. What exactly is the point, again?

I am just upset that they predicted a world wide pandemic and I got everything ready for the collapse of civilization due to a large percentage of the terminally stupid dieing off (because they didnt get flu shots) and nothing happened, now what am I going to do with a year's worth of MRE's and ammo?

I'd much rather discuss the number of people working in the fish 'n' chip industry who've died over the last 20 years.....far more than 200, despite it being a much smaller industry. And indian takeaway has overtaken as the most popular in UK.....coincidence?

UFR

Psychologists are the most likely people to commit suicide new figures show, thus we shouldn't give them guns.

Isn't it annoying that you ask the experts and they don't even know what the key is to living a happy life, bloody do as I say types!
