There's no uniformity in any of this. I did the Gatorade prep too, with an entire bottle of Miralax mixed in, but they told me nothing red, orange or purple. I had to drink it ALL in 8 ounce increments in an HOUR, and take four laxative pills also. And I was warned that they would not perform the procedure if I didn't follow all the instructions to the letter, but the woman in the next bed admitted that she couldn't drink all the liquid, and they tested her anyway. Go figure.

Sorry LookieNoNookie when I can't entirely agree to this...

I thought the same until 4 years ago...as in Germany I struggled to get the stuff down I had to take as a teenager for it...however over here when I had serious issues again for over a year until I finally went to the doc (which thankfully were gone after ages of waiting for the referal and then they couldn't find anything...so as usual no answer but at least a relief at the end) I was amazed.

The stuff I got here tasted lemon like and was absolutely fine to drink

So whilst I do know that there is horrid stuff out there...there are better tasting alternatives out there as well...
