i LOVE being caged. It is my "happy place." For me caging is very meditative. It puts me in a calm simple space where i have no other choice but to check out for a while. It also is a very strong sense of being Owned, and kept, exactly as my Owner wants me, in a safe, protected place. i have been kept in both a "dungeon" type cage in the past, as well as a dog crate - if you need one that is put away easily, there are many "pop-up" dog crates on the market that literally have two metal clips to undo and then it's together in under minute. And you can pop it back down and slide it under a bed, in a closet, whatever. Also for me it isn't too important that it be big - as long as i can roll over with my knees bent to my chest, that's fine. i do a lot of yoga so i'm pretty flexible, and the enclosed space is even nicer. i've been kept in the cage for a day or two (being let out to go to the bathroom) with no ill effects. i can get overwhelmed emotionally at times and the cage is an ideal place for me then. i've never felt punished when locked in the cage, or humiliated - even though it certainly could be used that way.
