Do any of you have a cage and if so what are your feelings about it? If you don't have one would you like to?

I have in the past in past relationships but not currently but I'm sure in the future that will be a real possibility.

I kinda liked it in the past. It was where I could go when I needed to chill out and when I needed some alone time or when he wanted me out of his way while he was too busy doing something.

I'd rather chill on the sofa with a good book. We've looked at the ones in the pet store but it's a lot of money for something that needs to be disassembled and hid under the bed. As we don't have much playtime anyway it seems silly to waste it not playing, but him doing something else while I sit in there.

The longer you plan to be there, the bigger the one you need. If you can't change positions you can't stay in it very long without muscles getting too stiff to get out of it. The biggest possible one is the best.

I used to own a stand up cage and a puppy cage. I used neither but they were used on a regular basis by the victims I took prisoners!
To be honest I think of cages as a bit of a space consumer and would prefer to convert something like an under stairs cupboard than have one standing against my wall.

Yes, I have a cage under my bed. When it's up, it get's used for the dog and me, when he's here, and if left up, the grandchildren like playing in it.

I'm not sure what "feelings" I have about it. Sometimes it's nice to be in it and sometimes it's not......especially when I don't know if it's me or the dog he's going to let out.

I don't like cages at all. To me, it's a waste of time sitting there, being uncomfortable and unable to do a lot when I could be watching a movie, spend some quality time with my boyfriend or whatever.

I haven't had a desire to be caged at all, if he wanted it I'd consider it but it hasn't come up at all as a want on his side.

Dito.

The current Master I am involved with asked me about my view and we agreed not to get one. If he would feel the need to keep me in place as punishment to give me some "thinking time" or whatever he would chain me onto his fireplace where he has a metal part placed particular for that reason and the length of the chain would depend on his decision, therefore he could make me stand there for a long time with me not having a chance to sit down or could give me the chance to sit down with using a longer chain, dependent on the reason for using it. So we avoid the cost for buying or building it as well as the potential storage problem.

I think the whole point is that you CAN'T *do a lot* and it's uncomfortable. It's certainly always been *quality time* here....lol

I think the thought of cages is hot....

But I know myself, unless it had a pillow top mattress, good lighting and a down comforter, it would not work for me.

Well a mink lined floor, a 50 inch flatscreen, an internet connection and an unlimited supply of Belgian chocolates would probably get you in there.

Mostly i think the whole caged thing is exciting and sexy...for about five minutes. Then my odd ADD kicks in and ill wanna go out, play some video games, or read a book, possibly surf the internet. Most of which i assume are out of the question for a cage. T_T

i LOVE being caged. It is my "happy place."

For me caging is very meditative. It puts me in a calm simple space where i have no other choice but to check out for a while. It also is a very strong sense of being Owned, and kept, exactly as my Owner wants me, in a safe, protected place.

i have been kept in both a "dungeon" type cage in the past, as well as a dog crate - if you need one that is put away easily, there are many "pop-up" dog crates on the market that literally have two metal clips to undo and then it's together in under minute. And you can pop it back down and slide it under a bed, in a closet, whatever.

Also for me it isn't too important that it be big - as long as i can roll over with my knees bent to my chest, that's fine. i do a lot of yoga so i'm pretty flexible, and the enclosed space is even nicer. i've been kept in the cage for a day or two (being let out to go to the bathroom) with no ill effects.

i can get overwhelmed emotionally at times and the cage is an ideal place for me then. i've never felt punished when locked in the cage, or humiliated - even though it certainly could be used that way.

I have had a fantasy of being in a cage for quite a while and have a  few scenarios in my head about it but I have the feeling it is better left as a fantasy as I think it wouldn't be as I think it would be...a couple activities have turned out that way...Of course it would probably depend totally on who had me in there and what he said and did while I was in there.

He has already posted that he has a cage for play. He is something I wrote several years ago about a play that he did with the cage:

He stripped me outside of the cage and warmed me up with a little “light” flogging and then locked me in the cage flat on my back. I had on leather cuffs at wrist and ankle with D-rings attached. Using rope he secured my hands to the sides of the cage and suspended my feet from the top. My play collar also has D-rings at the front and sides and he used the ones on the sides to keep my head still. Then he proceeded to torment the tiger in the cage with crop, small flogger, clothespins and I do not recall what else he used.

The really hot part of the whole scene for me was him stalking around the cage with some toy in hand and never knowing which direction he was going to come at me next. The limited mobility of my head made it difficult to watch him and it just built the anticipation and intensity for me. That night I ripped falls off of a flogger, tried to snatch the crop out of his hand and tried to grab him by the balls. I think the highlight for those watching was when my Lord climbed on top of the cage and tormented me from above (that was when I was able to get my hands on the crop). Finally, he climbed into the cage with me and used his hands and teeth to torture… I think I still have marks from his teeth.

Another time he put me in the cage, he had it suspended from the chains in the dungeon. It was actually very soothing because I could rock the cage and relax. He would put me there in between tormenting me during a weekend long play. For the most part I was continually restrained in some way throughout the weekend.

I do not get claustrophobic in the cage and I usually find it very comforting.

Being in a cage isn't the interesting or memorable thing. Most of what we get up to is only super-duper because it's him and me.

If he said * Come, watch this paint dry with me* I'd look forward to it.

Swoons, ok, ok, now that sounds hot and in that case I wouldn't need the pillow top mattress, et al.
