I just wanted to bring up the subject of the deathtraps seen in the 1960's live action Batman shows, and similar scenarios...especially when a man is in peril by a sexy female villain laughing evilly, where he only has moments to escape certain doom but he's tied up or whatnot...I kind of want to experience that in a way that is both safe but also has the illusion of danger...can anyone relate?

OP what you're looking for is a mix of predicament bondage and mindfucks. Usually is accomplished with the victim blindfolded. So you think there's a knife suspended by a string above you that when the candle burns through the string will cut you badly but after having it shown to you, you are blindfolded and a spoon is substituted. Or a cold butter knife is run along your skin at the same time as oil is dripped on you making you sure you've been cut and are bleeding.

Thanks, I read through the post, but I'm not into pain...more curious about painless bondage with impending peril at the erotic teasing mercy of a woman...like those Batman deathtraps. Or the cliche "being tied to a log being cut in two at a sawmill" thing.

Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb! That is one of the greatest cinematic masterpieces of all time. I love every bit of that movie with all of my heart. And the TV show was almost as great. I'm glad the internet can preserve such gems for my generation.
