Question about so called "tribute"

Status: offline 		I recently sent an email to a female dominant, it was a basic introductory email, and she sent an email back to me asking if I would be willing to do tasks to prove that I am really "interested." I agreed; she then sent an email back to me asking if I " know tribute." I replied by saying " I would have to get to know you first." She read the email and never responded.

Was is it wrong of me to say " I have to get to know you first?" Should I have responed to her in another fashion? Was I rude? I don't know if I did anything wrong. Of course, there is that possibility that she was fake. And, it isn't an option for me to send my wallet to anyone I don't know.

Status: offline 		I was just making sure I wasn't breaking some kind of etiquette. I was already speculative of her profile before sending her an email but there are so few real profiles that I was willing to give it a shot. And of course, it's fake. Sigh....

It's whatever you feel comfortable and wanting to do. If you like and want to send money then send it. If you are suspicious and not something you like to do then don't do it.

I actually *do* have numbers I do this on...in fact, just got off a $50. call. But I don't think I'm allowed (nor would I want to) give out this info here...

It's not wrong at all, assuming you were polite about it and didn't start calling her names.

She might have been a scammer or she might be a real mistress who insists on a tribute very early on. Either way, it doesn't really matter because she wants something too quickly for you. Just move on and better luck next time.

*chuckles* That would probably be a bad idea. Glad to know I'm not the only one though I've had to give it up for a bit.

Not at all.

In saying you wanted more?  Again, no.

The way I see it, the only etiquette online is "netiquette"... http://www.albion.com/netiquette/corerules.html
Not everyone follows these guidelines, but it doesn't hurt to have a look.
 
Also...please try to not use the word "fake".  One person's fake is another's perfect mate.
 
Good luck and don't send money to strangers!
