Termyn8or -> RE: common sense (1/19/2010 11:43:16 AM)

Sounds like a rant about Gay marriage almost, but more focussed on the stigma of homosexuality, or moreso the reasons therefore. The mentioned friend is Joshua bar Joseph, known to many as Jesus the Christ. I tend to think the OP is right, that Jesus didn't say a word about Gays. Taking a Biblical stance which I rarley do, IIRC somewhere in the old testament it says Man shall not lay with Man. Says nothing about Women as far as I know. Even at that, many sects of Christians believe that the coming pretty much voided the old testament, but opinions vary on that. I think a good summary would go something like : what is the big fucking deal about this, I am not hurting anyone. I agree. Not on religious grounds, but the fact that if you don't hurt anyone no crime is commited, whether you count it against God or Man. To the OP, I would learn to use paragraphs. Not only does it eliminate the large body of text that can drive people's eyes buggy, it help the writer structure the article in a more logical and understandable way. I am different in the sense that I am better at deciphering this stuff, but I am not the whole of the intended audience. Language is better described as a toolkit for self expression, not just a tool. The paragraph tool is easy to find. Practice with it, like every time you pick up your drink end a sentence and hit the . and then <enter> twice. It will make it easier to read, and in time you'll really get good at it. You then learn to group your thoughts in a more logical way. It just comes naturally for most. And in the end I agree. Despite my rejection of religion, as far as I know Jesus never said a word about homosexuality. I've read the Constitution, albeit years ago, but I don't remember it being mentioned there either. It simply should not be an issue of the magnitude it has become. And QUIT BLASPHEMING ! This is 2010, and the words common and sense should not be used together. T
