Actually, it has been his position throughout the race. When the democrats hit him with the anti-healthcare cry, he proudly pointed out that he voted FOR universal health care law for Massachusetts citizens. His postition was that MA taxpayers should not have to pay twice for something thier state was already giving them.

This, of course, is absolute idiocy and nonsense. Since both plans rely on private insurance companies, and you only need to be insured once, nothing would change for the population of Massachusetts, and the federal plan would incur no costs for them (save the tax on 'Cadillac' plans to fund coverage subsidies for the poor). They are covered already. By broadening the pool of insured and thereby further distributing risk, it actually would have likely saved them money in the long term. Nice thinkin' folks.

Why are you encumbering his logic with facts, you know it'll only confuse them lol
