I think you really need to be just a little more discriminating about where you get your 'news', pahunk.

The arrests were for BRIBERY... it has nothing to do with gun control. Jeez, what point are you trying to make, that some gun dealers and manufacturers are just a shade bit dirty? You made the point.

Hunkie,  step away from the internet and come out in the world.  Is not nearly as bad as these nut case web sites have lead you to believe.

I want to grow more edibles this year.

Tomatos and peppers to start.   Rather then seeds - for those 2 - I will again buy the small plants to plant.  I am limited on this lot.  But that is where I live.    I spend alot of time in the yard in the warm weather.

Jif1061, I respectfully disagree, bribery may have been legal grounds for arrest, but the sensationalism surrounding that arrest served an entirely different focus and course of action.
Bribery in all its many forms is a common practice accepted by our government especially when dealing with international arms dealers. Gun related arrests today are not about guns any more than arrests for bribery are about shutting down one of the most practiced and accepted tools of industry. Arms manufacturers are expected to sweeten the pie especially when bidding on one of our military procurement demands. So too it follows down the entire chain of command.

When it says Africa- I wonder if they mean Nigeria.  If so- there is alot of scamming out of there- including attorneys offices.   Add in underwear bombers and the send money because you have a huge pay out coming.

I see my local newspaper did not mention this.

This section is after all religion and politics- so one should expect to see those type of posts here.  Gun control is political, as are mass arrests at gun shows.

I was expecting a link to an episode of Highlander in which McCloud beheads a few crooked arms dealers. Very disappointed with this thread...
