No, that goes in 'Creative Writing'.

See? Fun for everyone.

The only way you could really see any cliquey behavior or anything close to it is down at the rs section, which is a little intimidating but then its easy to just leave that section alone.

I'll have to disagree here, Lilly. PRS is actually the first place I recommend to new folks who want to get to know people here. It's where I started, and the folks down there are very welcoming to newbies. One is much more likely to get jumped by posting something dumb or badly worded in the "serious" forums than down in "the pit".

I have to second Wyld's assessment.  I always suggest newbies go to the P&oRS section and take part in some of the goofy games played there.  It's a laid-back and fun-filled atmosphere, which encourages people to relax and let their hair down.  I've had some of the best conversations there, laughed until I cried, and made more friends just from participating on that board than from all the other sections combined.

I don't have the stats, but I know for certain that many happy CM couples met their partners down the the belly of the beast. [:D]

Yeah, still waiting for that to happen for me.  You'll notice I'm not holding my breath.  But it's definitely a way to make friends, no question about that.
