Sounds good, but, why here?

I think the Spanish meat you mention is probably chorizo?  Not sure I spelled it right.

You need more dairy and veggies, too.  Oddly enough I taught about the Food Pyramid at an elementary school today (and nearly bitch- smacked a fellow teacher for her sheer bitchiness and idiocy).

It seems like a bad idea to be eating so many fatty sausage sandwiches for lunch. I hope you are having whole wheat bread. Especially since all of your dinner choices involve some sort of fried thing, or the chicken pie which also usually has fats in the gravey and crusts. So many highly fatty foods aren't going to be great for your digestive system at all. You really should consider a lot more dietary fiber. Sources of this would be oatmeal, berries, and whole grain foods- not to mention many varieties of fruit and veggies have a lot of dietary fiber.

Also you might add fresh cut veggies and fruits as snacks throughout the day along with a lowfat yogurt. Veggie recommendations are: Spinach salad, baby carrots, broccoli, and cucumber. Fruit recommendations: any berries... blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, bananas, grapes, melon, mangos. A suggestion of the yogurt is the new Activa yogurt... which is made by dannon.

Good luck.

I agree, and I'd swap out the fatty chorizo sandwiches for a Weight Watchers or Lean Cuisine frozen entree.  They're less than 300 calories, which is FAR less than that sandwich.  I'd also vary the fruit, if you're wanting to lose weight.

A few more tricks I've learned that actually do work:  trade coffee for green tea to help speed up metabolism; drink a 6-oz glass of grapefruit juice before meals (3 times a day), because grapefruite juice, for some odd reason, helps prevent calories from being stored as fat; and finally, eat 200-300 calorie mini-meals several times a day, rather than just three 500-600 calorie meals to help stabilize metabolism.  I implemented this regimen (and am actually sticking to it) a few weeks ago, and I've lost 7.5 pounds.  I won't list my entire menu here, but cucumber; red, yellow and green peppers; grape or cherry tomatos; grapes; blueberries and melon figure prominently.

I assume this is home cooked and you aren't eating out in "that" restaurant--at first I read this and was like WTH, but I re-read it and I like posts that show we are people--real people---My house always goes for the ham and pineapple pizza--welcome!

You guys remind me of Burgess Meredith, Jack Lemmon's father in Grumpy Old Men.   When asked his secret for his longevity, saying:  "For breakfast, I have a bacon sandwich.  For lunch, I have a bacon sandwich.  And I usually drink my dinner!"

I'm not too much into healthy eating, but we could share some beers and a tossed salad?

I’ve taken your suggestions onboard they were all good and well thought through. It is all very much more than I expected in truth you have made me proud to be human once more. I didn’t know eating stuff was so dangerous though. You are correct about the Chorizo I think sometimes that stuff is hard to chew because it has sliced up cartilage in it. I will be varying my fruit and I have planted some broccoli seeds in the garden. IronBear’s  menu seems so much better than mine if only I had naked people serving me too. What is all this chocolate strap on business? I missed out it seems

In one of the other threads---a poster talked about using a chocolate strap-on as a means of satisfying her chocoholic sub.
