Afterlife is said to be another planet, everyone is around the same age, the old ones grow younger as the time passes while the young ones grow older when the persons reach the age of 20-25 their aging/younging(?) stops apart from that the world is the same but without war and arguement.
I'm not very religious person..probably on the borderline of being an atheist but I do believe in this 'cause I have my own personal reasons. Do I believe in heaven and hell? I don't know but I do believe in this place. I also do know(my knowing..not saying other ppl are dumbasses if they don't know/believe) that people can get stuck...in another place, if they don't become aware of the fact that they've died, but yet it's not hell.
Some say that when the technique has developed so you can go to other solar systems (if the earth still exists) then you may be able to find this place. I don't know if I believe that one though but nobody can convince me of the fact that afterlife or this..planet doesn't exist.[:)]

personally, i believe that, when we die, we completely cease to exist. there is no heaven, no hell, just nothingness awaiting us all. but this is only MY opinion. what do i know?

So, you know what you do?

You focus on getting as much joy out of this life as possible. You take your heart in your hand, and you actively, aggressively, search out every small moment in the day that brings you any happiness at all...

In time it becomes second nature to notice the little things. A sea breeze, a silly comment overheard that reminds you of what it's like to be young...

Before long you come to realize that you're always up to your ass in happiness...even in the rough times.

And, if all that sounds impossible, you reach out a hand to those who know how, and ask them to show you...

Just like you are doing now...

Hugs, Cin

Exactly!  That's what I was trying to get across in my earlier posts and couldn't quite put into words.  You put it perfectly.

for some reason i am reminded of Mephistopheles in Marlowe's Faust when he replies to being asked where hell is with....."why, this is hell.....nor are we out of it"

surely the corrollary is also true
