Or maybe it's the fact Bin Laden is not an idiot (unlike the typical liberal) and understands our country's strength is (or used to be) our economic might. Supporting global warming is a more effective way to trash our economy than flying jumbo jets into wall street. He could of targeted the White house, Congress, and the Pentagon exclusively on 9/11 and he would of succeeded, yet, downtown Manhattan was chosen as the primary target. And don't give me this symbolism bullshit about the world trade center, a smoking hole at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue would of been far more "symbolic" to the islamo-fascist horde.
The problem is Bin Laden is intelligent despite being evil, a trait he shares with your Party's leadership and way too many people that vote for them. This is another example of liberals willing to support anyone that echos their views no matter how many thousands or millions of people they have killed. Bin Laden gets to join Mao, Stalin, Castro in that regard, although, technically, he's a complete underachieving piker compared to the rest of them.
